The titles didnt fail at all ps4 just outsold. All 3 of the titles were well received. Pr and performance lost the first round. X1 games were far superior in first 18 months.
Pro should out sell x1x in total worldwide sales. It will lose in usa and perhaps north america. Uk and austrailia may even be in play... it wont effect total margin too much either way. Question is how quickly can they get price down to 400 or 450. 1 or 2 solid games that out perform ps4 pro will turn heads... nothing to lose. Microsoft has the gamers arguement now despite the sony fanboy noise

Yeah higher resolution textures equals more required memory. The more unique the world is designed the larger it will be... i much prefer this path than games with repeat textures and environment all of the time

I much prefer upgrades that dont reduce captured market. It keeps developers onboard with th platform. Both pro and x1x provide the chance for consumer to carry forward their library which is important to many. The developers are hurt in early cycle of new console and somewhat need to bet what the market share will be. Nintendo has been killed on these resets

Nintendo will never release hardware that does not make profit. This prevents nintendo from ever leading the technology beyond innovative design. I am not sure why anyone would think or expect full adoption by 3rd party software. I cant think of a generation where nintendo had full 3rd party support since snes

Not sure nintendo can make enough hardware to make that true this year. Demand for the hybrid should be greater than any console including ps4 due to the portable nature... it is an upgrade for 3ds owners as well. Long run will be interesting for the underpowered living room value
Interesting... every report after playing i have seen has been very positive with only negative being the graphics are not mind blowing.
