hmm good sales for the witcher 2. Especially considering they don't include digital sales
Very Very difficult to choose between Witcher 2 and Portal 2. The graphics, the total playtime, and the fact that i love rpgs should totally tilt the balance in favor of TW2, but Portal 2 is an amazing achievement in gaming. When i finished the sp and finally got out of that facility, it was a warm feeling of freedom which i only experienced once before when i saw shawshank, but cranked up several levels. And then the co op was just plain fun. I think its the innovation and the fact that its ...
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Those are some awesome sales for The Witcher 2. The developer had said that the pre orders had reached 150,000 copies 2 days prior to the games release and around 50% were for the digital edition. Now even if after including sales from the US, if the total sales equal around 200,000, still we can easily double that number if we include digital sales or even more than that. So, 400k-500k for a game that hardly had any marketing hype attached to it, is made by a relatively unknown developer, an...
No its not just fps thats not being NOT innovated. Its call of duty. You would think that after so many iterations, they would at the very least add something new. But its the same thing. Now its just for the profit. The game no longer matters to activision. Just the sales they get from it
good times for gaming :p
This actually gives us a very good estimate of how fast games sell on steam. Its actually outselling witcher 2, which judging by these numbers shouldn't be much far behind. I see both of them selling around 500K in a month on steam
come on seriously.....someone just has to say something which will stir up a totally irrelevant debate.
somehow your bubbles defy whatever you say sir
watch the game running on ultra at 1920*1080. Go watch some of the trailers and gameplay videos. Then talk about graphics....
Yea the sales seem to be good. Atleast thats what the cdprojekt guys said in the forums. So we can take their word on that. So a console version is definitely a possibility.
I can play it on high settings with ubersampling and SSAO off and shadows on medium at around 1600*1200 at playable framerates. It does lag but thats a driver issue, one that i hope Ati fixes asap. But anything more than a 4850 is enough to play this game at amazing detail.
just get a pc with moderate specs. A quad core and a 4870 graphics card would cost you a little less than your 360 and would milk the game. Well not untill amd releases drivers for their cards, but yea its above the recommended requirements. So it will run the game in all of its glory. Plus you can play every other pc game at the highest of settings. Either this or wait for a console version. But i doubt it'll be this good. If nothing else, the visuals will definitely be compromised. And ...
Something tells me IGN and Gamespot are going to drag this game down by giving similar reviews
But at least they gave DA 2 a 6, so i can respect them somewhat
hmm well i guess there will be good ones, as well as bad ones. Doesn't change a thing for me though. One of the best rpgs ever!!!
The same site which gave Dragon Age 2 a 9.2. I rest my case :p. IMO the witcher 2 is a 9 at the very least.
The reviewers at Eurogamer ar pretty harsh reviewers. So a 9 from them is pretty awesome. Plus the only real complaint being that the combat is designed to be really difficult is not a bad thing if you've played demon souls for around 100 hours. Am sold......
damn you valve damn you. As great as Portal 2 is, theres nothing we want more than Half Life 3 and you know it. Don't kill us slowly and steadily like this
From the guy who gave The witcher 2 a 6.0. But hey am not complaining. That's just his opinion and i respect it. Just throwing in out in the open.
