See buddy i game only on the pc and am very happy to see you holding fort for the pc in so many discussions on this site, but its one thing to argue logically, and another to make outrageous claims about PC sales. First of all Mass effect did NOT sell more on PC. I mean bioware did say that it did extremely well on the pc but the 360 version sold more than 2 million copies and i do not think the pc version topped that. And bioshock sold arnd 600-700 copies on PC compar...
I hope theres no quick save option otherwise my girlfriends gonna play this part again and again. She has this thing for game characters.:X
a PC influenced list for a change.....good to see
If i remember correctly, a thief was trying to get into a house from the roof top. The glass on the roof had cracks in it and was weak. When the thief stepped on the glass it broke due to his weight and he came crashing down and fell on a table and broke his leg. He had to be hospitalized, and when he was released, he sued the owner of the house for having such a weak glass on his roof. He demanded 2 million from the guy and apparently won the case. Moral of the story :- 1. Anything is possib...
couldn't agree more with the nomination. Last level ftw
Definitely starcraft 2
PC 12%???? Thats like 850,000 copies!!!!!!!!And Vgchartz doesn't even account for every region out there. Heck even here in india i can't find it anywhere too many ppl preordered it. And on top of that those are just retail numbers. Digital numbers must be off the charts too. Overall more than a million for sure!!! Thats really sad, considering how they have left the PC crowd in the dust. And to top all of this its not even getting pirated that much very few seeders and leechers. What has the...
I am playing it on the PC and loving every moment of it
In that case, play single player games such as dragon age on PC and the multiplayer games you can play on your console.
Enough of these articles already no matter how much impetus console gaming has PC gaming will never die. Look at the number of free playable titles out there. There are dozens of quality free mmo's, fps games, racing titles and rpgs out there that ppl can play. These are based on micro-transactions and are hugely successful. Look at perfect world. Its an amazing game and makes as much money as any other mmo out there. Look at combat arms. Those games really work. So what if one major develope...
nah they don't...they have just realeased the retail numbers. I'm guessing arount 2.25 million on xbox 360 and 1.3 on Pc retail sales and 2 million steam sales. Also when they put up the first sale for l4d on steam, they reported that the sales outstripped the combined lauch numbers so that says a lot bout how their games sell on steam
This is easily one of the most anticipated MMO's in Asia. The graphics are on par with most games out there and from the videos the gameplay looks amazing
Windows 7 - 7/7
Another vile attempt to get as many reads as possible....and guess what they always succeed. One of these days we should just stop caring.
PC gaming can never die. Consoles depend on PC's for game development and conversion. Imagine what would happen if Nvidia and Ati were to close down. How will the developers develop games in the first place. The success window for developers is getting narrower i agree. But it will shrink to a point where the developers realize then unless developers bring about a PC revolution they will not be able to continue with Console gaming. So theres no way the PC is ever gonna die. Plus with the adve...
Still you know people...its ohk...we have other games coming...am dying to play dragon age now its been getting exceptional reviews
And then you ppl ask why we consider you as retards
i've seen console gamers rant over not getting the star wars game for the consoles. they've said all sorts of things like consoles are what made the game what it is. And now you people are saying pc gamers act like they're entitled to something? Go get a life man. If you had features removed from your version then i would love to see ya talk this way...so just buzz off
The PC gamning world may have changed in 1998 as you said, but to everybody else, it was tuesday - its wasn't just the best pc game it was and is still considered one of the best games ever and one of the best fps games...so while for you it was just a tuesday for others it was a f@#$ing amazing tuesday
@dchalfont
Ohk i didn't know about that. I just remember the interview by some bioshock dev one month after the release saying the pc version had just 25% of the sales. I guess i just underestimated the longevity of pc games. But still the 360 version sold 497,000 copies in august alone. Surely it must have sold well over a million by the time the pc version crossed the million mark a year after its release. Guess you weren't talking out of your a$$. Guess i was :p. No hard feeli...
