@Dnied You haven't seen district 9 have you? If you have and if you still don't recollect the aliens being referred to as 'PRAWNS' cause they actually look like prawns, well then thats not my problem
@Vaistrat - Yes i know consoles are also OS dependent. But there is a world of difference between the OS on the console and the OS on the PC. There are a ton of tasks performed by an OS like windows 7. And although your task manager would show you that the load on your cpu is minimal. But the cpu is constantly performing a lot of tasks at the same time with all the services running in the background. So when you start a game the processor not only has to run it but it also has to queue it in ...
I can bet my A$$ he's one of those 'prawns' from District 9
Its a very stupid point you state. A closed system would obviously trump any open system because all of it is being used up by the game. PC's are different because they have the OS to run which consumes a HUGE chunk of its processing power. But if all the resources were dedicated to the game then technically a 6 core processor pc with a ps3 equivalent graphics card would run neck to neck with a ps3. Theres no magical component involved as to why these consoles perform better hardware comparis...
I would have written a huge post just to prove you wrong. But that would have been 3 years back. Now there are so many like you its a pain in the posterior. But you are contradicting the so called "PC gamers dont think highly of consoles" argument by not thinking highly of the PC. Sure you have problems with left 4 dead. I don't. And don't even talk about battlefield. Thats just a better experience with the PC. It really sucks for you. Not for everyone. So give opinions but without ...
Its been the top selling game on steam for almost a month now even beating the then released games by a huge margin. What else can you expect.
The witcher is one of the best RPG's out there hands down. Anyone who hasn't played it should play it ASAP
impossible...though i am a pc only gamer and would be delighted if this is true, i highly doubt MS can afford to not have as many exclusives as possible...especially with sony hitting a purple patch in the last 2 years.
More importantly...what resolution are you playing it on?
well one can always go out and buy a 3 year old config even now. It is pretty damn cheap
you need to put on your glasses to not notice the difference between the three versions. And a 3 year old 8800 gtx can pwn this game. So you can play the pc version, get good graphics and you still wont have to spend a single buck on it if you have a 3 year old high end pc. Grow out of the misconceptions that you ppl have
The ambient lighting on the PC version looks awesome
Yea he does get more info and you can see that the excitement is genuinely there...but he is a biased fanboy....and when you have a fanboy doing interviews with game devs it can get ugly
Its already in the top 10 best selling games on steam. How sad!
They should ban rappers from doing game interviews
Yea God of War 3 is easily the most anticipated game of the year....and i know sales don't equal hype or quality...but on a totally different note..just to bring it up..bad company 2 will be the highest selling game...probably....unless they do release starcraft 2 this year.
I don't see how this can be surprising to anyone after the 2nd game went multiplatform and sold well despite being ok compared to its predecessor.
And i was just about to buy a PS3. Now i'm confused. Will wait atleast till the specs are revealed
Better hardware == Better graphics simple as that. But its really sad that most of these topics end up being just about graphics. The consoles never stood for this. Guess you just cant help people becoming graphics whores. And this sentiment comes from a PC gamer(considered as the 'Graphics Whore stereotypes')
What a load of bull-stool. The stepfather obviously killed the child by handing her the gun and then forcing her to shoot herself.
