Does Nintendo really need all that power to render Mario?
The only problem with the "motion controls" concept is that Nintendo has pretty much sold all of the Wii that it can. Nobody's buying motion control games anymore so I think Nintendo is going to try hitting a different market.
Ah ok. I was all confused there.
Any particular reason why people who aren't you would be making posts on your blog? Seems shady. :P
Sure they copied them but I don't recall Nintendo posturing the way that the American branch of Sony does.
Considering Sony can't do a thing without copying something that Nintendo did previously it seems amusing that he'd open his yap.
Console? Copied
Handheld device? Copied
Motion Gaming? Copied.
Good move Mr. Trenton you're trying to shame people into buying your babysitting device by making fun of a different babysitting device.
5 :)
How about the right of consumers of a news service that is known to publish lies?
Heh. Did EA patent the Yo-yo head physics that are being used in Shift2? That looks hilarious. Maybe they should try simulating seat belts next time so the driver's face doesn't end up pushed up against the windshield so often. :D
Probably the Wiii.
I agree with King_of_the_Casuals. The Wii wasn't designed to have the 10 year lifespan that they've been trying to give it. Sure there are tons of games out there but at least the PS3 and the Xbox were designed with a bit of future proofing.
Kojima calls Crysis ridiculous... the last time I tried Metal Gear it had Death Cow Robots.... Yeah.. nothing ridiculous there.
As compared to the sunlight hitting the clouds from the opposite side as it's hitting the buildings? (second screen shot)
I also loved both of those games. A lot of people forget about Contract: J.A.C.K. which was also part of the universe but failed to compare to the original two games. It was Monolith's first foray into a more action styled game. After Contract: J.A.C.K.'s failure they went on to concentrate on the FEAR series which I've never been bothered to play.
Well considering they only have 250 devs and they've been working on the Left 4 Dead and Portal series as well as building a complete PS3 client for Steam, I'd say they're doing friggin amazing.
Well the sad thing is, with games like Dead Space 2 using the "Your Mom Will Hate This" ad campaign this sort of outrage is going to become more and more justified.
Yeah... I guess the roughest English pronunciation would be Nwaar, but that's simply because most English people can't get the proper 'r' sound that comes naturally in European countries.
'"More human that human" is our motto.'
Well it's hard to get the flack cannons to run around for you.
Here's an idea.. Instead of just writing an engine putting out 1.5 games, and then calling it quits, how about writing a game with a good story, interesting characters and the like.
