I doubt it was pirated more. Battlefields main attraction is it's multiplayer mode. Pirate = No multiplayer. The fact remains, DICE main more money on PC vs. Xbox or vs. PS3. Get over it.

Consoles can get plenty more powerful. Look at the footage of Battlefield 3 on PC, I would love if almost all games next gen looked like that.
MW2 actually did advance the MW multiplayer. New perks, killstreaks, modes, weapons (riot sheilds), Spec Ops, etc. Ton's of advancements were made.
Black Ops also added tons of custimization, and the Nazi Zombies mode was better. They also added new modes like Wager matches, etc.

Honestly, the haters need to shut up. Every Call of Duty game adds a new single player, which requires new voice actors, sound, new locations (new textures, etc.)
The Multiplayer is re-balanced, Spec Ops is given more modes, new maps, etc.
Yes, the gameplay is similar to the previous games, but why fix what's broke? CoD is the #1 FPS, played by casuals and hardcore gamers. Ruining/Changing the gameplay radically will alienate fans.

Not really a CoD fan, but isn't it obvious? They enjoy the game. Gears and Uncharted are pushing the series forward how? Graphics? New Modes? The basic gameplay is still the same.
CoD offers Spec Ops 2.0, a new Campaign, and a better multiplayer. Yes, the graphics are still the same, however, that doesn't mean that everything else hasn't been improved/reworked to provide a better/smoother/more balanced experience.
How is Robin the worst thing? We've seen one or two pictures? Maybe he will play differently than Batman and be a great addition to the game.

It will include playlist that mimic Halo: CE playstyle, less bloom, Halo: CE style Pistol, etc.

The Gears 3 Beta actually looked just as good as the Uncharted 3 Beta. For those that think Uncharted 3 will blow Gears away are wrong. They both will look great.

Call of Duty is a completely different type of game. Yes, it's a first person shooter. But Battlefield is more of a Sandbox, Team Shooter. Call of Duty goes for a quick, arcade type of shooter.
Battlefield vs CoD is stupid, because they are completely different types of FPS.
They may not be Activision, but there EA. EA, known for milking franchises, closing development studios, etc. Like Activision, there a business, there goal is to make money.

Look, I'll make this as simple as I can so you can understand the gameplay.
Call of Duty = You make your own loadout. Any type of gun. Sniper, Pistol, Shotgun, LMG, RPG, etc. Then you proceed to play in a map.
Gears = You choose between a rifle and a shotgun. Each has there own advantages. Then, you spawn.
Each map has POWER WEAPONS. Power Weapons = Powerful Weapons. Your TEAM than uses TEAMWORK to RUSH the power weapons. Snipers, Rocket...
