Elites probably aren't in multiplayer. Here's my reasoning:
1.) Multiplayer takes play in the UNSC Infiniy. In there, they are virtual rooms that allow the Spartan-IV's to train. That's the "story" of H4's multplayer. Why would Elites be on the ship?
2.) Elites take time and resources to develop. The more time/customization/etc. spent on them means less on Spartan IVs.
Hence, I think it's unlikely.
All the Halo fans are made because they think they know what the fuck is going on. News flash, you haven't played the fucking game. You don't know how all this stuff fits in the game. People thought instant respawns would be in every gametype, a 343i dev said they wouldn't and it shut everyone up. Wait until E3, we'll see footage about everything works, different modes, etc.
Having the game be sub-HD was a compromise for Bungie. It being Sub-HD let them have better lighting effects, etc. Look at Halo 3, at the time rarely any other console game had HDR. The lighting in that game is beautiful.
1.) - Have you played Shadowrun? In the game, there was a "perk" that allowed you to see through walls. It worked REALLY well, and if Halo 4 implements a similar feature, it could work for the game.
2.) - "buy gameplay advantages" I really doubt it will take that long to unlock these abilities. Maybe a week at the most for most gamers.
3.) I'm cool with sprint, I'm not worried about Instant Spawn cept in Objective gametypes, and we'll see how ra...
I thought MW3 had some really cool additions. The kill-streak system was completely revamped, weapon specialization, new modes (Team Defender, Kill Confirmed, etc), improved UI (HUD looks better). Also, Call of Duty Elite is probably one of the best, if not the best, stat tracking service on consoles (followed by Halo and BF).
However, the game play and fundamentals are still the same old Call of Duty that millions of gamers love.
Lol at all those disagrees. Bubble+
Why?
No, it doesn't. Gears is the perfect example. Great graphics and fluid gameplay. Compare that to BF3, which has a few problems on consoles.
That's why PS3 gets exclusive content a week early? Because Microsoft paid them? Yep, makes sense.
/sarcasm
Yep, instead of saying how Developers be treat both consoles in equal, Fanboys NOW WANT exclusive timed DLC, hooray/
When did Japan become the rest of the world?
You can't be serious.
East has some great games.
West does also, seriously, your just gonna talk about shooters? Lets talk about Mass Effect, Castle Crashers, Uncharted, Forza, Mirrors Edge, SSX, Skyrim, Portal, Rayman: Origins, inFAMOUS, Batman: Arkham, Alan Wake, Deus Ex, Assassins Creed, etc. How many of those are shooters? I Guess MAYBE you could argue Uncharted is a shooter, and if you want to grasp for straws say Mass Effect & Alan Wake is one t...
The reason we pay for shit we "used to unlock" is because gamers buy it. Stop buying it (DLC you don't like), and publishers will stop selling it.
So you want Epic to develop exclusively for Playstation? Why? I really don't think were gonna see games better-looking than Gears and Uncharted this gen.
Games running UE3 on PS3 look great :/. Bulletstorm, ME3, Bioshock Infinite, etc.
Epic is actually talking to MS and Sony to put better hardware into there next consoles, so graphics and games look better, so whats the problem?
There's a few reasons fans aren't happy. Looks are one of them, another is because, like you said, Ninja Theory sucks at combat. "Feel of 60 FPS" Okay Ninja Theory, okay.
If tons of developers are using UE over all those, Epic must be doing something right.
"The Indie Dev scene is where the best games are coming from PERIOD"
Umm... no. I've had a lot of fun with indie games, but they are no where near "the best games."
There fun, and a lot times unique or have cool original ideas.
But the graphics, scale, polish are usually better on AAA releases. To each his own I guess.
No one advertised anything? Troll much?
It's a shame you missed the Halo 2 XBL days. Besides the glitchers and modders, the gameplay in that game was bar-none. It wasn't perfect (too much aim assist, glitches, etc.) but oh man oh man, the maps were great and the gameplay was amazingly fluid.
Hopefully 343i can recapture some of that with Halo 4. Can't wait.
