"Sony said this "We will not block used games, that will be up to the publishers." If the publishers are on the internet, they should know what the smart thing to do is."
So...since sony hasn't exactly clarified their full policy regarding used games, we can still assume that these publishers may still want to block used game sales or charge a fee for their access to another party of the same game copy, right?
And, considering the atti...
While Skype's quality may be subjective, you didn't really address my question..
and, just out of curiosity, how has the quality of calling on Skype diminished??
With the exception of a new layer of paint and tweaked interface, I haven't noticed any inferiority of call quality or video quality with ms's acquisition compared to before..
Don't you think that if sony weren't on planning to charge fees in the same or a similar way that Microsoft is planning on that they would have taken this golden window of opportunity to make it known to the public by now via twitter or other media?? What if Sony is planning the same thing and has made similar plans with EA, Activision, etc.?
With EA having dropped major support to the Wii U, couldn't it possibly have something to do with wii u's support and ...
but we can use Skype for the new xbox....not google hangout..so what's your point regarding call services of xbox one??
This official says that the shop must pay the fee, not the shopper.
So, according to that mentality, ps3 < xbox 360, right?
I agree.
The second they reverse decisions, I'm in for the X1.
So, you don't want a new ip? You'd rather take a sequel? Gotcha.
Not when you've been told beforehand that the games will be reserved for e3...
How is a new IP bad??
And how is it typical of Microsoft to push them for a new ip? Is that a bad thing in your view?
Honestly...I don't understand the internet sometimes..
You know...not everyone is like people on n4g or other gaming websites.
People who already have an xbox may jump on xbox one at sight or may want to buy one just so they can carry their Gamerscore over.
And ...not everyone is a core gamer.
I don't know why we see so many websites asking this.
MS specifically stated a good number of times that the reveal was to show off the hardware and it's features and that e3 is for the games. They've got 15 exclusive to show off there.
I mean...do these websites not do any sort of basic research before complaining about the lack of games??
I think this is a good move.
I have noticed several time in which some of my friends have browsed the marketplace for games, they'd always skip out on the indie games.
Being in the unified games section could really be beneficial for them, imo.
My kids love it, and it's nice to have options.
You could say the same thing about other things we argue about. For example...sales.
don't you guys ever get tired of visiting things you obviously hate and probably have no intention of purchasing??
so pumped!
here....we...go.
@Qrphe
All of the big 3 spend money on not-games.
Why in the world are you criticizing Microsoft for getting ideas from someone else??
As Belking mentioned, Sony outright bought Gaikai- just like probably every major company out there does.
When you have cash and see a good investment somewhere, you spend it to acquire the tech, info, etc.
Btw, here is a list of all of Sony's acquisitions... 4645d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment
