LOL - console graphics...on par with PC graphics...that's one the funniest thing I've ever heard!
Until computer animation gets cheaper, which is the only medium I feel can do these games any justice, I doubt we'll see any movie of Nintendo games that does the source and fans any justice. Mario could get away with a one shot movie, however, titles like LoZ and Metro I'd would be best represented in sequels and trilogies.
Doubt it. Both games are not huge system movers. Combined, the games may move six million copies within a year and maybe a low six figure sales of the WiiU. But I doubt these games will give the WiiU the sales boost or the influx of user base people believe the WiiU will get. I don't see the WiiU selling more than 900,000 more units by the end of this year at the rate they're going.
Not it's last chance, but a good time for the WiiU to take advantage of the attention - and NES had better use it.
Let me get his straight...so now, we're allowing fanfiction concepts to be labeled as articles?
For peeks sake, it's a video game about an Elf Boy who turns into a wolf, who gets ridden by a cat-demon from another dimension, who is really a beautiful princess under a spell, and the two must collect a pieces of a stone mask so they can defeat an interdimensional throne usurper who has been granted powers by an ancient evil force that's really a guy with a red bea...
No, they said they would have more to say at E3 2014. I have yet to read any article, which can cite a reputable source, that states Nintendo will actually be showing anything outside of the pre-existing demo footage or giving out any release information.
I buy the time Hyrule Warrior's release. However, I doubt we'll see a WiiU LoZ release. Hell, I'm not even expecting any solid news in LoZ for WiiU until E3 of 2015, and that will just be NES telling us that there will be a LoZ U coming in 2016, just in time for its 30th Anniversary..
Top down view on gamepad and usual 3rd POV on screen. And of course, they're swappable.
2008 is also when a slew of casuals entered the market. It is unlikely the industry will see such a climb any time soon. Everyone games but not everyone who plays video games are gamers.
Until holodeck technology is widely available, consoles will always be around.
Never fails.
We want to point out problem with your company. But lets not talk about Sony's.
Seems like people are trying to distract themselves from the errors and AMD errors of their favorite manufacturer by not dragging Sony into it. "Don't talk about bad stuff I don't like. It'll make Sony look bad."
If companies come to rely on that mentality from their biggest supporters, they're gonna be in a lot of tro...
Don't feed the trolls guys - just one glance at his bubble count should tell you what this guy's all about.
Ssshhhhhh! You're not supposed to point out this little detail. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain and just keep looking at the shiney, shiney jingling keys.
Read the rest of the quote, it doesn't just place the responsibility on the child. It also mentions how the WiiU failed to keep the interests of the parents and the WiiU's poor single player experience.
I plowed through AC4 and haven't gone back to touch it since. It was dull, unchallenging, and didn't even feel like an AC game. It was the first AC game to feel grindy. There were one or two points in the story where you had to have your ship up to par or else the mission was impossible.
To this day, the first AC game is still my favorite. No constant Eagle Vision to help you out, no James Bond level gimmicks, and enemies that weren't just fodder for you hidde...
VR is like 3D, it's a fun idea but it's ultimately just a passing trend and a novelty. If VR, like 3D, was going to be successful, VR-like visors would've replaced TV sets LONG ago. There's a reason why we still game on TVs instead of on headsets.
People like idea of VR because it's one step closer to a holodeck or a nervegear. But since it isn't a holodeck or a nervegear, things like VR and Motion Sensing are all just gimmicks reserved for those wi...
While I agree that video games CAN be art, the mass majority of games available is not. I also agree that many games nowaday feel like a chore than a fun hobby. Games used to be a fun thing to do. I would received the same amount of satisfaction from a ten minute play session as I would from a weekend gaming binge.
Some people can play a game for months at a time - that's cool. I'm not like that. I plow through a game and I move on. Sad point is, I'm so back...
FF:LR (this will be the last FF game I buy), Thief, Danganropa, Toukiden, DKTF, Castlevania 2, and Bravely Default...my backlog list just keeps growing.
IF, that that's a BIG IF, this new gaming accessory can be adapted in other ways to game - I'll give it a chance. If not, hey NES, I already have a gym membership, my smartphone has several fitness apps (free),and I am already in better shape than most. BTW NES, in case you missed the bus, most gamers are not fitness conscious - ON PURPOSE! Unless your new device is going to zap the fat away over time by bombarding my body with cosmic rays and build muscles naturally via infra-soun...
This isn't a fake guys! Last night, after my usual Saturday night rump with Scarlett Johansson, I was on my way to Emma Stone's house for our usual Sunday morning sexcapade when I meet Reggie of Nintendo. I gave him whatfor for ruining the WiiU so far and Reggie broke down in tears. In Reggie's remorse, he unloaded this exact same list to me!
This is not a fake!
