How do you know what their setup is like and how their systems interface?
Waaay too many experts around these days.
So then you're saying that they should rather remain completely quiet and not say anything at all until they are absolutely certain of their date? Somehow I don't see you being happy with that either.
So, if the horse is not saying anything, why should anyone pay attention to something a developer might be hinting at?
That was my point.
PSN will be back when they're done with testing. Unfortunately that can be a little unpredictable.
Let's just wait for news from the horse's mouth, shall we?
"...it's entirely possible..."
Wow. Going out on a limb here, aren't we? So brave to make such a bold statement.

Do you HONESTLY believe that Kinect has taken any sales from the Wii?
"...I assume that gamers might just lose their minds if they miss yet another weekend of online gaming..."
Ugh.
So, only the one person responsible for securing data at Sony should be in trouble, not the whole company, right? Right.
"If your a PlayStation fanboy"
- you're
"you're probably blaming Microsoft's."
- Microsoft's what?
" you should get some therapy if you think this why,"
- WHAT?!?
So tired of this Zombie English we have to read these days.
I think the issue with the MS points is that it entails a convoluted conversion process where $1 does not equal 1 point. That really is a stupid setup no matter how you look at it.
Serious question...does nobody here use their credit / debit cards for any online transactions?
Your bank has all your information, and they are probably just as vulnerable as anyone else for a breach. Thinking that using some prepaid card in SOME instances is, I believe, a false sense of security.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure all financial institutions offer fraud protection, so your money is safe. If your bank doesn't offer this, I suggest changing banks.
Apple have had so much success with their products lately that the fear seen here is quite understandable.
For all those opposed to the idea, just remember that nobody will force you to buy it. The fact that millions of people will support it shouldn't bother you (though, obviously it does).
Oh, and for those already whining about the price (of a non-existent product)...funny how no one has been able to match the iPad on price vs features yet, isn't it?
It is.
Interesting how everyone is blaming Sony for this. Yes, their security was breached, but let's focus on the fukcs who did it.
You sound like xteampro. Nobody is forcing you to read the article.
Who are you to decide what's news and what isn't?
The community decides that, and if you don't like it, leave.
I said a week or so ago...it's only a matter of time before the authorities get involved in this. These guys are going to hurt.
Darx...understood. But I would rather have 10% of a user base and be worth a bundle than have 90% of the user base and make less.
The iPad obviously fills a need, otherwise it wouldn't sell, right?
No matter how much you call it a fad or gimmick, Apple obviously hit the nail on the head with that niche. Time for everyone else to play catch up (again).
"...compromised at much at 100 million users accounts..."
At much at? Christ. The "t" and "s" keys aren't even next to each other.
