Really hope that Saints Row 1 and 2 make their way to this, I got both on sale digitally for $2 each. :D
Definitely would love something like this. I loved having an awesome looking dynamic theme for a game that I loved, like the Uncharted 2 theme, which was amazing. Sadly, I have my doubts, as Microsoft has said nothing of the sort about this. :c
Name a single game that these studios have made in any recent time frame that you can recall was great? I will wait.
The thing is, these people are already getting job offers from places AND it is possible that Microsoft may relocate them to other in house studios, or perhaps new ones.
You think MS fanboys are terrible, yet this comments section is filled with morons that just loathe MS and are just saying "BLAH! MS IS EVIL! THEY ARE RUINING LIVES AND D...
Duuuuude, don't bring logic to N4G. The fanboys f*cking hate that. The N4G community is not one for logic and reasoning.
Yes, shutting down some studios that nobody could remember in the first place is totally showing the end of Microsoft. Totally.
This is the perfect example of 'trimming the fat' as it were. It is amazing how some people are reacting to this like Microsoft shut Rare down or something. No, it was a bunch of studios that I can bet that most of us didn't even remember until we saw this article.
Microsoft is clearly showing priorities with this, where that leads we don't know, but I actually don't see this as a terrible thing. Yes, it does suck for the people there, but there is a high ...
What podium would that be? One of the biggest sleazy corporate money tools ever created in gaming? I don't want to see The Division on that podium.
Yeah, the community on this website is absolute shite.
N4G = News for Playstation Fanboys and nothing else.
I am on Microsoft Edge on my Xbox One. Checkmate buddy. ^_^
I own an Xbox One, not a PS4. I have more games on the One than I have owned for any other system and that is saying something. The system is fantastic. Do these sales articles dictate that? NO. While these pointless sales articles pop up and fanboys duke it out for eternity, I am busy enjoying the system and what it has to offer.
This is just another flamebait article, nothing more.
Yes, they are a scam. Companies like Activision are now announcing the damn season passes WITH the game announcement and asking for $50 upfront just for the damn DLC. You don't even know what the DLC is gonna contain! Sure, you know it will be 'map packs' in CODS case but you have no idea what the maps will be like.
Season passes are a plague on gaming, one of many.
Um, yay? I mean, it's great for those that have the game but this is another title that really isn't too high on the votes I don't think.
At the very least, an update on titles announced months ago would be nice.
I am not defending Halo's micro-transactions here, but Black Ops 3 has micro-transactions AND a $50 season pass on top of that, despite the fact that the series sells millions every year.
People need to focus on that a bit more I think.
I played this for about 3 hours with a friend yesterday and it was some of the most fun I have had in a game in a long time. This game needs to be experienced by everyone.
Black Ops 1 AND 2 each had more zombie maps out of the box than BO3 does. Oh and Black Ops 3 had a longer development cycle.
Yeah. Black Ops 3 is shite.
Yes, I cannot wait to play GTA V on an iPhone, because that will be completely comfortable with no issues whatsoever.
Why are season passes becoming a problem NOW? Like I said in another article, Call of Duty has been having a $50 season pass every year for the past, what, 4-5 years? That is $200-$250 in shitty COD DLC alone and THIS is what breaks everyone's patience?
Not to mention, Black Ops 3 launched with only one zombie map. If you wanted the other one, you HAVE to buy the $50 season pass. Again, why are people getting so pissed off now?
And Activision churning out a COD game every year with a $50 season pass didn't already set a terrible precedent?
This game was definitely overhyped and the Dark Zone is a pile of trash, but I still am enjoying the game overall far more than Destiny. I wish people would hate on Activision as much as they do Ubisoft. Unlike Activision, Ubisoft does publish some fantastic games at times. Activision publishes shit for the sake of screwing our wallets.
