You know how many critics trashed Days Gone just cause it was 'another' zombie game. If Capcom did not move away from that people would be moaning. I like the idea of the 'family' being terror kinda like RE4 where it was plagas and Village people
I'd agree with all if it wasnt for the entry cost of PC VR. For me I'd a new gpu looking at the 1070 which will be $380 then to start the occulus would be $600 thats $1000 for the low end we are talking about. Think about a Vive and 1080...now people have a PS4 you are talking $500 to get started thats half the price.
If you ever gamed on PC you'd know that with almost any new big game release there is a graphic card update. I assume consoles do something similar like this can be for Fallout 4 mods so the devs can get better performance on the PS4

The Neo is future proofing themselves. 4k TVs are getting cheaper fast. As people buy them they want 4k bluray, streaming. games upscaled to 4k. The PS4 cant do that but the Neo can.
How is this different than a high speced steam box?
With those specs someone will be left behind. You either build a great game for Scorpio that runs like crap on Xbox one or a good xbox one game that doesnt take advantage of the insane processing of Scoprio either way one will break and some one will get left behind

Totally agree, I dont mind a half step like Neo solely for the reason of options. If my ps4 breaks i can get a better model, 2nd system better model, new 4k tv a model that supports it. Scorpio seems like a full step new console but they are positioning it is not. For the reason you listed and now are we going to see games and trailers built on Scorpio and awful on Xbox one im sure we will
Neo is fine cause it will be $399 and a 4k bluray and streaming. Not 4k gaming but Sony will have a huge jump on VR and better looking games. Scorpio is a beast but with no price yet and over a year and half it has to play catchup and if you are talking VR plus a system you are looking at $1000 just to get started that excludes alot of console gamers ans that crowd will already have 4k on PC.
Pretty sure $499 no one can ever release a $599 console again after Sony and the jokes

You can feel Neil's hand in the pacing those slower moments reminded me alot of the last of us which I loved. While they were new to UC the typical UC moments definately delivered.
Im all for it except look what happened to Insomiac when they left Sony and went Multiplat. Remember there game with EA...prob not
I liked that the Xbox One was supposed to be an entertainment machine. This made it unique from a PS4. Take that away and you now have an under powered console

This game came out 10 years ago, that means if your 15 now you were 5 when ot launched. Let people experience a game that us older folks enjoyed. If you dont like hd remasters then dont buy them no one is forcing you too. Yes it is an easy cash grab but so are sequels and reboots in hollywood but it doesnt mean they shouldnt exist
I keep having to turn on my PS3 cause PS4 can't play crap, This helps but really want MKV support!
This is not GT5, but more like prologue and a online only racing sim. It is being treated as such.
This just in Uncharted is not perfect because...it's a game.
