They have compared it to other phones, they've rated the screens, cameras, hardware with what you'd get in other phones.
You've not read the article.
Re: morganfell
Maybe he'll fix it so the system explicitly allows the jailbreaking of general computing devices just like how they allow the jailbreaking of mobile computing devices.
That'd be a great step. A great win for consumer rights. Yes, you actually own things. But I see that N4G is full of those who value corporate control over consumer choice, I guess it makes you feel safe yeah?
He loved big brother.
Valve may lose market share, but overall revenues and profits will continue to grow.
They're playing the front runner, and have done well. Increased competition from GamesForWindows, Battlenet, Mac AppStore etc may mean the Valve's market share starting to fall.
But it's starting to fall in an ever growing market, and I think with its viral longevity gained through Steamworks integration, their profits will continue to grow.
Re:mushroomwig "I'd have no problem with jailbreaking if it didn't open the door for piracy, but alas it does and that's why I hate it."
Then you clearly do have a problem with jailbreaking, given that all jailbreaking can enable piracy. You clearly believe that the hardware vendor has more rights over the thing they've sold you than the customer.
I'd have no problem with the internet if it didn't open the door for piracy......
VGChartz just pull numbers out of their ass.
These guys are not professionals, just guys who left VGChartz.
Re: cyborg
Your comparison of hacking a PS3 to gun violence is one of the worst analogies ever.
You buy the gun, and you can do anything you want with it as long as it doesn't harm others.
Rooting hardware that you own does not harm others. Installing mods and custom firmwares does not harm others.
Rooting does not mean piracy. I really hate how platform partisans on N4G keep on supporting the rights of multinationals o...
The day when Mickey Mouse isn't relevant to kids, is the day America dies.
You have a picture of Android as your avatar. I'm sure your aware of the free and open nature of that OS - which is rooted by default.

That's open innovation. But that's not particularly important in this case.
The Library of Congress ruled that the rooting of mobile devices did not violate t...
No, he's not covering his tracks. He's removed it to comply with a temporary restraining order. If he doesn't, then his site gets killed by the hosts - and I guess he doesn't have the time/resources like Wikileaks to constantly jump providers.
I value the freedom of speech over freedom for corporations to lock down hardware that you've bought.
Jailbreaking mobile devices has already been ruled lawful by the Library of Congress. Let's hope that this extends to all electronic devices.

WP7 just doesn't have the numbers to be a viable development platform. I guess the early movers were tempted by Microsoft money, or thought there would be no competition.
Even if the 1.5 million shipped equated to sold, the numbers are still tiny compared to iOS, Android, RIM or sinking Symbian.
But as we've seen with the 360, Microsoft are usually in it for the long haul. Give it another 18 months, and we'll see what's happening.
I hate it when people dress up opinion as fact, "Civ 5 is unquestionably a bad sequel", no it isn't.
What Civ V isn't, is Civ IV. So maybe the series is trying something new, and it diverges from your taste. So what, move on.
What would be more disappointing, is if they just did the same thing again. Yeah, you'd still like it, but what's the point?
Re:Vickers
I know what you mean. But it is doable.
I recently (this holiday) upgraded my parents PC. It's a Pentium 4 3Ghz machine from around 2003. I stuck in a 4670 AGP and an extra gig of RAM.
It now plays Mass Effect 2 fine and most other games (it does have trouble with COD:BO). However, hunting for a 4670 AGP was difficult, and the only options were way overpriced. And those who aren't tech savvy will obviously have difficu...
Lol, nice one guzman.
This is what you're reduced to, calling names. Its just that insults don't negate facts.
That's nothing, Android are activating 300,000 phones a day.
The PSP is irrelevant everywhere aside from Monster Hunter land.
Sony could have done something bold with the PSPGo, but they didn't. They undermarketed it, and had absolutely no confidence in it. They were too afraid of alienating the pathetic middlemen wastes of space which are the retailers.
Oh, that "quality and content" that you're looking for? It's ...
"Physical media will never die."
Tell that to the record companies. HDDs will fail, but storage is getting cheaper, and connections getting faster. SSDs will last longer than your precious plastic disks ever will.

Then they'd have done it in real life. I'm talking about logistics, costs, regulations and financial viability - not whether or not it obeys the laws of physics. I thought that'd be obvious, but I forgot that you have to spell it out in simpleton on N4G.
It's celebrating the fact that the world of Gran Turismo can be of pure creation, where dream designs can be realised.
Looks incredible. I know GT5 is meant to be the "real driving simulator" and all that, but its great that they put this in as almost like an Easter Egg.
It's a pure fantasy creation from a top designer, its experimenting with things that wouldn't be feasible or cost effective in real life. Fantastic.
I actually agree. This is one of the best reviews I've seen on Gametrailers.
It feels so comprehensive, others have complained about the standard models, but rarely actually shown them - just focusing on money shots.
Gametrailers says, here's the weakness, we'll show you, so you can make your own mind up.
Xperia is only irrelevant because Sony Ericsson can't seem to compete.
Clearly, this would change if they put out world class hardware.
Which they haven't.
