Everyone reports what is shipped. Including sony. They have no way of knowing what is actualyl sold to consumer. They report what they have shipped to stores. Which is what the stores have bought so its money in the pocket of sony or microsoft when it is shipped to a store before an actual consumer buys it.

The hard drive and disc space doesnt have anything to do with why its gimped. Its gimped cause neither console has a graphics card that can run an entire island jungle on any cryengine 2 or 3 lol...
So they are going to have to try to close off sections of jungles instead of it being a huge open world.

That is typical of the cryengine2... terrible netcode when it came to vehicles.
Sadly aside from that glad someone put out a mod finally... but i actually met the guys who worked on this mod, and crytek hired them lol... I dont know if the mod was funded by crytek or if these guys just did it on the side, but im sure it has something to do with why they got hired.
actually 8800gtx can run crysis on everything very high except motion blur... and maybe put postprocessing down to high and water effects on high instead of very high... run it with no aa and maybe 1600 resolution... and the game gets 30 fps and still looks awesome

my laptop runs crysis on high settings at 30 fps .. and can do very high at 20 and its 2 years old :) and i bought it for 700 dollars when i get it. It has a 9700 gts in it. run it at 1440 widescreen resolution.

but dont feel bad. That is the general thought that most people have come to beleive... cause of people who are mad their graphics cards that run half life cant run crysis...
