You do realize hes not blaming the games themselves. Hes saying put down the distracitons for a while. Nothing wrong with gaming, but too much gaming will take you away from your studies. It is BAD PARENTING to allow your kids to play games all day long. Games should be a reward after homework.

Your home schooled... so you have no idea whats in public schools. My highschool in new jersey had huge computer labs, programming classes, many many useful things to learn. By home schooling someone your limiting them to what you know. Not to what the world knows. Your limiting them to not question things and just take them on your word. Im a game dev myself. I can honestly say, yes play video games do become a distraction. If you play for 2-3hours after work.. or school.. do u really think ur going to have the energy to study after wards? I know im ready to knock out in my bed after a game of left 4 dead 2 lol. Not saying video games are bad for you.. im saying video games are bad for you if not in moderation... just like anything is bad for you if not in moderation. Hell water will poison you if you drink gallons of it. ...

how are they not going to mention hans zimmer... the man did do the soundtrack for modern warfare 2. As well as many big blockbuster films. He is on the level of harry gregson williams.
i dont know what all the fuss is about. The game looks like a completed product. Remedy should be proud as i am sure they are. I mean its kinda messed up for u to be saying u feel sorry for remedy lol... lets face it.. console games wether on ps3 or 360 are still at the same level. They may have some minor differences here and there but at the end of the day... all these games still look like they belong to the same generation of games. Its all really the same technology at the end of the day...

I seriously would have bought this game day 1 on the pc on steam.. I was planning on it. But with this drm crap and the constant internet connection required to play it....
Besides the fact that its 10 dollars more then the usual pc game.... no thanks.... ubisoft.. keep ur game... ill buy it when its 15 dollars on steam a year from now.

Im done buying any product ubisoft has to offer unless its on valve steam. Otherwise i just wont buy it.. i dont care how good the game is.. i dont want it. Cant support this kind of policy with the drm crap.
You know you guys are only saying negative comments about this engine just cause it claims to be able to deliver the best graphics on any console... which goes against what you have been saying that ps3 is that much more powerful then 360 (which it is not).

And just to educate you, i actually do this stuff for a living... and killzone 2 utilized "Beast Lightmapping" it is also now utilized in unreal 3 engine as well as games like mirrors edge. Let me tell u something though.. none of those have anything on what crytek creates. They are baked shadows.. no "cell processor effect"... they are things...
