u ever wonder why valve didnt release the source code for left 4 dead like they do all their other games?
Cause valve is making a mod for left 4 dead called left 4 dead 2 ... lol... and they are laughing all the way to the bank screaming "SUCKER!!!!"

Maybe these buisness should try making a product that doesnt already exist in microsofts OS. I mean if microsoft steals the idea then ok, but lets face it.. msn messenger has been around for a long LONG time.
To make a new messenger software and say it failed cause of microsoft... and microsoft should pay me.. is just a way of trying to steal from microsoft.
I mean aol instant messenger doesnt come with windows, but its like the most popular messenger around.
Educate myself?!? I am a developer. This is my job... it pays my bills. Anyway... left 4 dead is a mod ... Not cause its the same engine.. but cuase its a copy of the counterstrike gameplay... its the same code.. same movement... same everything.. even the guns... are the same... just model switch outs... and sound switch outs... The only addition to left4 dead were the mosnters and zombies... other then that its a mod. A multiplayer mod. And some better mods out there are things like Neo Tok...
1.) 25,000 people not buying the game is 1 million 250,000 dollars out of valves pockets... Thats a lot of money anyway you spin it. Espeacially since valve doesnt need publishers, they use steam and people download it over their servers..
2.) Lets not get it twisted... Left 4 dead 1 was SHORT AS HELL.... REASON many people put up with it was the promise valve made to bring in lots more content additions.... A promise people beleived since it was valve... and valve usually does s...
I highly doubt microsoft is paying for anything here... The source engine (the one they use for left 4 dead and hl2...) is not really optimized for multicore... and runs like crap on the ps3... They have a valid point, why build a new engine to make a game on the ps3... when they can just have fun doing what they love doing.. and release it on 360 and pc. Sony claims they made their console to develop for difficult on purpose... to weed out lesser games... i call bullcrap on that... I think s...
I have to disagree with your opinion... valve has switched their engine. They just take a long time to do it. And hl2 engine they keep making minor enhancements to it. They are milking it.. and making tons of money.. cause people buy their games more then most developers.
In either case... everyones always complaining how gameplay is more important then graphics... Valve is just following that... They make some fun games... and their engine can run on really slow computers... T...

Sounds to me that this is nothing like home.. sounds like its a 300,000 player mmo... u know... a game... that has 300,000 players fighting simultaneously... an actual mmo.

This game is probably going to be when raiden and solid snake together saved sunny. Before mgs4. Why the eye patch, who knows, maybe he is disquised as big boss lol. This games probably going to explain why and how raiden became a cyborg.
Hey man you know how sony fanboys are... In either case, this game i will rent, but it still looks like garbage. It reminds me of Resident evil 4 when you have to hit buttons or tap buttons or move the joystick in a direction to get away... those cutscene to cutscene fights and if u dont hit the right button u die. I mean how can you enjoy a game when your looking to see if a button will be available to push... I for one cant even pay attention to the world when im looking for buttons and op...

I love splinter cell, and i definently like xbox with its titles more then ps3..., but i bought ps3 for metal gear... metal gear is in a whole other realm compared to splinter cell.. Splinter cell is a hot game, but metal gear is one of those games that could make u feel emotions about the characters.. splinter cell u really dont feel nothing lol... its just a hot game.
People dont pirate ps3 games because it costs almost as much to buy blank blue ray discs then to buy the game normally... not to mention the expensive price of a blue ray burner... lol... human nature has nothing to do with it.. Only thing about human nature is people will get what they can get for free if they have the means and wont get caught... thats just commen sense.

yes be he agreed under unfair legal advice. The lawyers had other interest other his own in mind since they worked for sony as well. Any judge will see that and agree, so now sony is going to have to try and bargain with him and settle if they could otherwise theres no way he could lose.
u do realize the makers of linux ARE making money off of linux right? With the people selling other versions of linux they get a cut... with the advertising with it they get paid... your wrong... the foliage from naughty dog isnt anything near this... For one light shines through the plants in cry engine 2 just like real life... u can see from the other side of the plant shadows and stuff... makes for some great realistic effects... not to mention the ambient occlusion... Not really sure why i respond to posts like these. Your probably just some kid in high school trying to represent that your a fan of naughty dog. Which is cool and all, but I just like backn technology ...
