I wouldn't say that.. I feel like they lead the charge in graphics every generation. I mean they were the first ones who brought stencil shadows to real-time professional gaming... first ones to actually use normal mapping in a production. They seem to be the first ones at doing a lot back in the day too.. 3d... doom... quake.. etc...
With rage they pioneered the whole mega texturing thing, but they just lack on other things that crytek and unreal seems to be doing these ...
Im not understanding where people say windows uses 1.5 gb of ram comes from. Vista which was the worst OS used 1.2, windows 7 uses like 800 mb and xp used like 300 or 400 lol.

I went back to try to play shemnue 2 a while back. Can honestly say that game shoudl have stayed in my memories.. THe game is garbage now... Not the graphic aspect ... but everything.. most boring game ever. Nothing to it.

Resident evil 4 added giant robot walking statues and things that mutated in a split second to skyscraper size. It also added unlimited ammo in the form that even dead dogs dropped shotgun shells for you.

You must be someone unfamiliar with digital. Once you buy the game you can download and install it with your account on any machine you play on. As long as your playing with your account logged in. And your account can only be logged in at 1 place at a time... but like steam , if my computer is logged in at home and i wanna play a game at work, i just log in and work and it boots be off at home.. or vice versa.
So digital is obviously better.. u scratch your dvd.. your screwe...
