I always play games the way the developer intended. If you dont you will probably miss something they intended you to see.. crysis 1 story was better then crysis 2 story. Crysis 2 was just a slap in the face to anyone who played the original crysis. It cut down on scale, made weaker gameplay, story was cheesy... and just was very dumb all around.
It turned crysis into call of duty and they hoped they would profit off that crap. GARBAGE multiplayer in crysis 2. Least crysis 1 was fun multiplayer.

You do realize that it was his company that made the game as well as the engine. I can understand not blaming him if another company used the engine and made the assets wrong, but cmon now... The company that made the engine made the game. If they cant show off what its capable of then no one can. Only Carmack and the people who worked for him are to blame.

apple is so behind in gaming it wouldnt matter. Developers hate creating games on apple since apple doesnt provide them with real support. Not to mention that apple makes all of their products so locked off that it would make sony taking linux off their console seem like a crum in a cookie jar.

because both sony and microsoft are cheap bastards. They skimp out on the gpu which is the most important aspect of gaming.
Ati is cheaper then nvidia. Nvidia is higher quality. Most people wont notice a difference, but imagine a console that had nvidia physx built in.. No longer would it just be a gimick, but a truely interactive world.

Well thats kind of the point... now u can kill anyone and even shoot through the walls. The map feature at least made u vulnerable to look at it so u would get caught. You used to have to look through peepholes to make sure no one is in the next room... now u just look THROUGH the door... wall... or any other thing blocking ur way.. U used to have to pick locks but first check to make sure there are no gaurds by being clever... now your just god basically.
