Maybe, but it also seems to have caused a rise in annoying no-name gaming blogs, posting more useless poll topics about PSN, to try and get traffic to their shitty sites. I think what people don't understand is: if you're not from Japan, that 7, 9, 170234 seconds of bowing doesn't mean shit to us. Different cultures respect different things. Not surprising to me either. Dual layered DVD tech has been outdated for ages now. Not as bad as Wii, but close. Swapping discs sounds like something you had to do on the PS1. That's why it's laughable in this day and age. Hopefully MS will use an up to date tech on their next console for media.
