@Kratos
You're preaching to the choir since you obviously missed Bounkass's point.
I like how he just casually says, "You could have multiple Xbox Ones..."
And the point of that would be...?
I saw two exclusives. Forza and Quantum Break. Where are the others? Or... were they just telling us that more were coming? Which means they haven't actually shown them, yet? Yep.
Ugh. Xbox One does not have GDDR3 memory.
So just two exclusives? Not very impressed.
Assuming this comes to fruition and that EA doesn't screw us over in other ways, game companies could learn something from this.
Here we have a game giant who has been losing a ton of money over the past year, saw one of the most dismal launches of a game franchise that has existed since the 80s (SimCity), and has gone through major restructuring and layoffs and you would think they would WANT to keep the online pass to generate more sales since, according to every game c...
How bout this, if someone doesn't like blood and guts then don't play the game. Buy a Wii and play Mario if you're so concerned. I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about people trying to change existing products to adhere to their own personal viewpoints. Fallout has always been Mature with large amounts of violence, gore, and adult themes. Either deal with it or don't play it.
I'm not going to write to Nintendo and tell them that Mario is too famil...
I hope Just Cause 3 has multiplayer. Just Cause 2 is awesome, but my buddies and I have always imagined what it would be like just to goof off with the game in some sort of sandbox mode. Games don't NEED multiplayer, but multiplayer expands on the greatness of certain games and not enough sandbox open world games (GTA, Just Cause, Saints Row games) are taking advantage of online experiences.
My comment was misunderstood. If this is a "slap in the face" to PC elitists, they're b*tching about one game compared to the countless console games we've seen ported to the PC. I was saying they don't have reason to be "slapped in the face."
Especially when they refer to said female absence as a "sausage party." The article lost all credibility at that point.
So what happens when a console elitist sees their game ported to the PC?
Requiring an internet connection just to work devices is beyond asinine. Never mind the fact that a lot of people in rural areas have trouble getting internet access in the first place... Something mundane like moving, ISPs having technical difficulties causing intermittent service, or simply a console being in a completely different room from where modems are with no wireless capabilities would all cause issues with gaming for what reason?
I see this happening with PC games,...
You can try to justify it however you want, but the game industry has survived for decades without DLC and without prohibiting used game sales. Now that the technology is available they all of a sudden say they're losing money and this is hurting their industry? I don't buy it.
Until release-day DLC content stops, until companies stop charging gamers to unlock "additional difficulties" or other mechanics that would be assumed to be included with the retail game, until I actually feel like I get my $60 worth whenever I purchase a game, then maybe I can justify this. I've already moved about half of my gaming over to PC as this generation continues to degenerate, so if this gets implemented I have no problem dropping my support for consoles.
Caravan is probably the best card game I've ever played in a video game and should be played in casinos everywhere.
I just logged in to Resistance: FOM on Friday and those servers are still up and running after 6 years. EA is full of bullshit.
Can people please just not buy this? Game companies keep doing this because we keep buying it. We can b**** and moan all we want about it but if we buy it Ubisoft still is laughing all the way to the bank.
What happens if you buy it now then all of a sudden you're level 50 in a few weeks or a month or two? You're $30 poorer and back to where you started. And for what? To have good stats and to dominate people at the beginning? Do you really care about something that v...
Microsoft isn't on the list because this is an article about companies who USED to care about gamers. As in, cared about gamers at all in the first place.
I'm getting sick and tired of seeing people saying that particular games shouldn't have multiplayer. Just because you don't care about it doesn't mean everyone else feels the same way. I preordered this game because of multiplayer. But I'm not going to say, "Sorry, but this game should not have singleplayer and I will not touch singleplayer. I am thinking all that time wasted on SP could have gone into multiplayer to make it even better. Some games just don't need...
I agree. There are so many games out there trying to be like COD where it's usually a shot or two to the head and you're dead. It may fit some tactical shooters, but this goes back to Uncharted's arcade roots where the purpose isn't to die and respawn every minute.
There's nothing more frustrating to me than wandering around in an area only to drop dead and not even know who was firing at you because it's one shot, one kill. This isn't that type of...
