There are things I like about it and things I don't. The visuals looks really good, a nice combination of gritty darkness with flashy colours. Third person suits me right down to the ground. On the other hand, they could lose the middle aged Karen in space as far as I'm concerned. I don't like it. Also, I would prefer the gameplay mechanics to have more weight. It seems far too arcadey for the mood of the game.
A few things:
1) I don't impute bad motives to reviwers unless there's some very good reasons to do so. I don't know how you can know that Skill Up are "just trying to get noticed." The attempt to uncover hidden motivations requires some very compelling evidence. I see no such reason to think that's what's happening here.

I'm having trouble believing this is a 10/10 game. From what I'm hearing, it's a hackneyed story of revenge with unlikable characters (see Skill Up). The last tweleve hours of the game are under embargo and it seems like that's where a lot of TLOU2's problems become very apparent. So I'm pretty skeptical of the near universal praise. Sounds like a well desrved score. Trash like this deserves to be called out for what it is: a cynical money grabbing exercise.
I don't think it was a loading screen. It's simply level designers doing what they do out of habit. If that was a loading screen, then we could hardly explain the ending where she's standing in the canyon. You can see incredible detail way off in to the distance.
I understand your fatigue with first person shooters but Titanfall 2 had the opposite effect on me. I thought it was an excellent FPS. I'm more of a third person guy but I would be so down for Titanfall 3.
This looks great but I'd love to see this as Gears style 3rd person shooter.

Gotta be honest, the whole show was mediocre. I didn't care much for the games that were shown (if I had to pick one that impressed me most, I'd say Chorus. But that's if I'm forced to pick) and what was shown didn't show much gameplay. The exception here is Bright Memory. We've already seen BM gameplay before anyway.

No way I'd want a degraded experience on current gen consoles anyway. That's ancient hardware. It's why I play all third party titles on pc.
