It's been more than ten years for me. Love Dead Space. This will feel like a brand new experience to me.
My hope is for a MGS 3 remake. I would put that game in my top five favourite games of all time. But if the original MGS gets the remake, I'll be just as happy.
Looks just as nonsensical as the first game.
Only two weeks until release. It's the game I'm most looking forward to this year. Trailer looked amazing too.
I was a bit down on the the earlier footage they showed but the latest footage honestly looks amazing to me. The lighting and particle effects look especially great. The updates to the zero-g sections look incredible.
I haven't played the original in more than ten years so I'm really looking forward to this remake.
Honestly looks boring to me. It sounds like every environment has that dull brown organic look to it from what the reviewer said. Those organic weapons don't look like fun to use either. It looks depressing and boring.
Whatever it is, it won't be loved by the time Konami after finished with it.
Thanks for pointing that out. What you say makes sense. The situation is more complicated than I imagined and the article didn't make it clear how all those variables come into to play to affect production of the PS5.
I summitted this and just wanted to say why this story might be a bigger deal than you might imagine.
Not only is there a significant drop in weight from previous models but perhaps more importantly, these models are speculated to come with AMD's new 6nm chip. Why is that a big deal?
In a word: availability. A new chip means increased production. That means increased availability. No performance increase from what I've read but more PS5s out ther...
I never thought I'd be excited for a first person shooter ever again. Atomic Heart changed all that. And even though it's been in development for years, my interest continues.
Oh yeah, they absolutely nailed those weapon sounds and effects imo.
Well, I guess that makes it all worth it now. 😂
DS is one of the games of all time. It is definitely a game.
Is it a remake or a remaster? I don't think it's worth spending much time trying to figure out what box TLOU Part 1 falls into. I'll just break it down by what I've seen. You decide what box it's in.
Graphics: a big improvement
Audio: not really sure. I need to sit down with a PS5 and good heaphones to assess that. I'm sure it will be improved though.
Gameplay: nothing of any significance that I can see. No chang...
This is a direct quote from you, above.
"They didn’t change how the game is played, it’s still got the Last of us 1 bones."
You can stop embarrassing yourself now.
Let the damage control begin.
Thank you Naughty Dog for confirming that there are no gameplay improvements despite saying there would be.
Yes, I didn't want to believe it would turn out this way but now it's fairly obvious: no AI or gameplay improvements. Whatever Naughty Dog have done to 'improve' gameplay and AI is either non existent or it is a very subtle improvement. Either way, asking 70 bucks is asking too much.
If you just want improved visuals and audio then you'll be happy with this. However, it's pretty clear now, due to the leaked footage, that there are NO gameplay improvements or even AI upgrades. Naughty Dog said there would be.
How do I know? There's leaked gameplay all over YouTube. A guy named GTA Golden has uploaded the gameplay and it is just as the leaker said: no gameplay improvements. Nothing about the AI appears different either.

@clucap. Not sure why you're resorting to personal attacks. I'm just saying what I honestly think. EA never even entered into my head when thinking about this.
"How can you say a finished game looks better than one we have seen developer notes on at best?"
Not trying to be combative here but the DS remake is coming out less than two months after TCP. We've seen more than developer notes. We've seen actual gameplay. Admittedly, t...
If that's their reason, then I doubt they're going to be successful. TCP looks superior to the DS remake.
I honestly want both games to be great but I notice short comings with DS in comparison to TCP. The animations of Issac compared to Jacob appear clunky and stiff. The environments of DS appear too clean vs the grimmy and lived in look of TCP. Combat in the TCP looks more immersive and fun compared to the DS remake.
The DS remake doesn't ...
I look at the XBOX S and X are little more than a poor man's PC right now. I'm not sure I agree that one game, no matter how good, can turn Xbox around. If Starfield is exceptionally good it will help somewhat but that needs to be just the beginning.
Also, how does author know Starfield has fun combat? He states this like it's a fact. However, the impression I got from the gameplay footage says otherwise. Why would they need ID software if the combat was alread...
