Mate, your XB1 has been ready for years. It's just too bad despite being ready for all that time, the only thing you got worth playing is Forza, some indies, and...maybe...Sunset Overdrive. Everything else, including Crackdown, is a joke.
I can either have this or Battlefield 5 with the RTX 2060 I purchased. The truth is, I want neither and as for Anthem it's just bad all round.
Just looking at this game from a technical pov, it's really a poor performer. Check out what Digital Foundry has to say about it: it can't maintain 60 FPS at low settings on the pc, let alone consoles! They tested this on systems running with the GTX 1060 and RX 580 at 1080p. I agree with you. RE7 had a boring main character. The enemies are unvaried apart from the Bakers (and they overused the fight with the father of the family too). I don't know why people think it's a decent game. It really isn't. It doesn't even feel like an RE game with its first person perspective. I can only think the guys praising RE7 are uncritical teens with taste up their collective backsides.
Anthem looks mediocre anyway. I watch video on it just last night of some side mission and the voice acting is just awful. The fact that this game can't even push 1080p 60 fps is just one problem to add to a long list for this poor excuse for a game.
Yeah, I agree. I can't help but think there's so much wasted potential here. I prefer my SP and Mp kept pretty much separate (an optional co op campaign, yes, but not this baked in MP).
I suspect much of this game will be "go there shoot this, get this." The story will be an afterthought. I mean that trailer above pretty tells you all you need to know about the story: chase after the mcguffin ("the anthem of creation") and prevent the evil doers...
I don't know if this is people pretend to like this game "the most" but I suspect the fanboys on here are pretending to like The Order 1886. Quicktime boss fights and not a lot of gameplay sounds like a mediocre game at best.

Mikeslemonade is a front runner for biggest tool on N4G, 2018. The guy's a one trick pony when it comes to trolling too. It's either "PS poor" this or "peasant" that. That's his whole shtick, and it's sad.
Looks boring and appeals to gamers without a shred of critical discernment. Fourteen year olds who just want to make things go boom will love it. Anyone with an ounce of sense will avoid it.

I'm glad they went ots. I like that perspective and it gets on the nerves of the fixed camera cry babies who still think this is the 90s.
I really, really can't wait to see both of these in action. I just wonder when, exactly, Devil May Cry 5 will release.
I was just thinking about this yesterday! I finished the game the other day. It's a great game but this issue (boss variety) immediately came to mind after completion. There are the Valkyries as well, but the one's I've fought all seem very similar to each other. Also, fighting Baldur was great but it I think they used that fight too many times, where I was hoping for something different.
I said pretty much the same thing myself and the xbots jumped all over it with disagrees. They're mad as hell, not with MS for pumping out trash, but with the people who point out these things out. We're in the home stretch of this gen and they have nothing but excuses left.
