Wow.
I had thought pre-order was a complete waste of money because no game had ever sold out. Not even Halo 2 at launch.
Wow, and I thought this was going to be one of the top titles for PS3 in 2007. Ah well.
A Factor 5 exec, in an interview, remarked that the design team actually hated the fantasy genre but still went on with this project. See - that's what happen when you have people to work on something they do not love doing.
Seriously. He should have been taken out of the human gene pool.
In the morning he's angry at Paramount. Now he loves HD-DVD and everyone. Geez. LOL.
it's the PC version that's having this problem. The Xbox 360 version is fine.
Apparently it's only the PC version that's doing it. PC got screwed again.
and it's immediately deleted. For some reason, they would rather suppress the subject than to give me a straight "NO", and they were rather anxious to delete and bury the question completely.
So, that does tell me about something.
When it comes to 1st party games, Microsoft currently has the fewest titles and also the fewest quality titles.
Spielberg has not made a real hit for a very long time.
and it's still not out yet, I'd say the trilogy will conclude in another 30-40 years.
then Disney/Fox will not be able to deny region free to consumers, won't it?
Sony likes to do its own thing and release its own format different from everyone else.
If you've had a Sony PC before, you know a lot of its component are incompatible with other PCs, and a lot of other PC components are not compatible with Sony PCs. And PCs are supposed to be compatible with each other.
Mini-Disc, UMD, DLT, Memory Stick, on and on, Sony always wants to have its own standard that's different from everyone else... and most of them have never cat...
A/1: North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
B/2: Europe, Greenland, French territories, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
C/3: India, Nepal, Mainland China, Pakistan, Russia, Central and South Asia.
The biggest Blu-ray phuck-up is that (pay attention) Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia are Region A but China is Region C. So, basically any Chinese movies or s...
by being associated with Sony.
Sony has collected a lot of bad karma over the past decade with the spyware music CDs, "David Manning", exploding batteries, EverCrack's poor services, and too many arrogant comments towards customers, and now seems like too many people just want to see Sony fail and punished for its past sins.
the EU government will complete their investigation and tell all studios to stop the exclusive nonsense by the end of the year, and then the US government will follow.
That's why Paramount/Dreamworks took the $150 million, because they know the hammer is coming down in the EU. When the government tells Paramount/Dreamworks that the studios will have to release movies in both Blu-ray and HD-DVD formats and no further than 6 months apart from each other, the $150 million paid to...
Now that's a smear campaign - it's a personal attack on the reviewer just because the reviewer gave a PS3 game a low score. It reminds me of the "Swift Boat" political tactic used by Republicans/GOP. It's despicable and disgusting.
MSFT can buy the entire SNE with one year of profit. The only reason MSFT has not is because SNE is overall not very profitable.
For your information, SNE and VIA (which owns Paramount) market cap is about the same size at 50 mil, so SNE is not buying VIA. In fact, VIA is more financially viable than SNE because VIA has more cash flow and less debts than SNE. Of course, MSFT, with a market cap of $200+ billion that dwarfs SNE, can buy them both with just one-two year of prof...
you're not gonna hear it first from the "IGN Play B3yond podcast".
IGN might be a recognizable name in the video gaming industry, but it is not exactly a well-connnected "insider" when it comes to Hollywood.
It's interesting that those babies whine about how studios are screwing them over and don't care about customers ONLY WHEN the negative happens to Blu-ray. So, why aren't Disney and Fox also screwing us over and don't care about customers because they support only Blu-ray?
FYI, HD-DVD arrived before Blu-ray. So, aren't Disney and Fox screwing over consumers and early adopters who had bought HD-DVD before Blu-ray came out?
Oh wait, I know. It's wrong only when...
It seems like it, now that Michael Bay has just changed his mind and professed his true love for HD-DVD. LOL.
