This comes from a BLOG, for goodness sake. It could have been written by one of the game programmers under a fake name.
It's not about supporting HD DVD. It's about NOT supporting Blu-ray.
The people you so immaturely call "Xbots" really do not really care about HD DVD. As far as they concern, they just do not want to support Blu-ray. As long as Blu-ray does not win and there is another competing format or medium: DVD, HD DVD, HD VMD, dual format, triple format, digital download, UHDV, PCD, whatever, then they are happy.
While the odd of HD DVD winning is slim, the od...
Sony has lost another format war and just conceded defeat... Sony has quietly ditched its proprietary ATRAC format and adopted the competing MP3. Sony has also shut down its Connect online music store, which sold music in its ATRAC format.
Why hasn't anyone reported that? Because like this news, that one has NOTHING to do with gaming.
Then HD VMD does not have a snowball's chance in hell.
and what studios does it have? Without backing from a good number of studios, it does not stand a chance.
You know what'd be really funny? All the studios (from both Blu-ray and HD DVD camps) decide to support this third format in addition to whatever they are supporting right now (either Blu-ray or HD DVD,) and -- BOOM! -- this format comes out victorious.
apparently it's too "girly."
You play the games, not the franchise.
Yeah, I know, but the French website is really really slow for some reason.
Stranglehold is SIX hours. SIX!
Seriously, that's $60 for 6 hours... I would rather go see 6 movies. 6 movies are 12~15 hours for $60. And I don't need to put down $250~$600 first for a console to watch the movies.

Wii is much cheaper than Xbox 360 and especially PS3. For only $250, Wii does NOT need a whole lot of great AAA exclusives to sell it; one or two will be enough. Wii already has two exceptional exclusives for hardcore gamers, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Those two AAA titles, which have gotten overwhelming 9s and 10s from critics and reviews, already justify the meager $250 price tag.
I expect to get *more* exceptional exclusives o...
Microsoft is keeping a tight lips on what are coming next year. So we have very little idea what Microsoft's exclusive line-up for 2008 is, other than Alan Wake, Too Human, Halo War, and the new Peter Jackson's Halo game (which will be either next year or 2009.)
However, Jeff Bell said in his X07 interview that Microsoft will reveal a little of MS's 2008 line-up at the upcoming TGS. We'll see if they can match what PS3 has to offer in 2008.
misleading descriptions -- "completely dominate" means that all top ten titles are Xbox 360's.
because of Vista/DX10. Now that PC developers often have to develop for *both* DX9 and DX10, or they can pick one.
I'm sure you've already heard game developers and programmers complaining about Microsoft has made development much harder with releasing Vista with DX10 and then making DX10 incompatible with XP. Now developers have to rewrite a huge part of the codes to natively support two different versions of Windows. That's extra work, and that's hassle, and that's harder...

$60 for 6 hours!? That is so not worth buying.
You do not look at one or two reviews. You do not "cherry pick" the reviews you like and ignore all the other reviews because they give low scores to games that YOU desperate want to be great.
You look at the trend. The consensus. The OVERALL review scores. The mean. The average.
If one or two reviews say it's bad, then they could be biased or wrong.
However, if you look at ALL the reviews -- i.e., the *reputable, respected* reviews,...
Obviously the average review scores at MetaCritics and GameRanking disagree with you.
can't play the games without a PS3.
can't justify paying $500-$600 for PS3 if PS3 does not offer some games that get an overall review scores of 90% or above and make into the "A" category.
For people to even get to play the game, PS3 has to give them the *reasons* to buy the console first -- and the reasons being true A titles.
Edit: nasim, can't see what you're saying. N4G *automatically* ignores everyone with 1 bubble, and I have no i...

My god, how desperate can PS3 fanboys be?
This is NOT a professional or reputable review. This comes from a BLOG, for goodness sake. Blog reviews are a dime a dozen.
