The BACKGROUNDS are to go with the 'Currently Playing' part of the tag...there are only 4 because they just launched them yesterday and that is all they had time to design..thus they picked popular games...like I said in my report of this story...IF Playfire knew anything THEY would break the news on PSU (since its the same fracking guys running both).

Are COD4 levels locked down to your PSN ID? If not...would a level 10 COD4 player REALLY replay all of that just to get the trophies?

If they ARE locked down, IW should do the right thing and patch the damn game.

The 80GB uses software emulation AND PS2 hardware. The 40GB does not have this hardware and thus emulation of PS2 titles on that system will be more limited (if ever).

I do believe SONY will have limited BC for the 40GB as it shoots them in the foot not to be able sell all that content on the PSN.

e3.net is not an offical E3 site ... it is part of the UGO group of websites as a quick whois/aboutus would show http://www.aboutus.org/E3.n... and http://whois.domaintools.co...

Thus, this post saying that this is the official site is incorrect.

BTW the OFFICAL E3 site is e3expo.com or

COD4 to MGS4?

That is sad.

Your comment history is sad too http://www.n4g.com/up/19963... you really should keep to the OPEN ZONE.

Another quality posting from Scrawlfx

Unless we are going to post as news the install space of every game every week then a non-major install like this should not get on here...if we approve all this crap (so that scrawl can get hits?) we won't be able to tell the news from the crap and N4G might as well just be an rss feed aggregater.

Take a look at your feature set then to now...same thing is happening with PS3.

here is that it is multimedia focused and already has a huge established install base with iTunes. Transitioning those uses to the TV has been 'difficult' for Apple so adding gaming and a unique (?) controll mechanism might push them more mainstream?

Having it in your entertainment rack with wireless connectivity to your iPhone/iPod with the potential that the games can be played on both (via remote play or as an executable, see PSP/PS3) is pretty compelling imo.

I pointed to the fact that we ran the story on N4G 40+ days ago based on a 1UP podcast...you seem to have read the headline of the link but not the words...I'll quote it for you:

Shane Bettenhausen announcing Sony's own rumoured controller that will have "transforming multiple configurations"

As I said...this is old news.

Here once again is the link: http://www.n4g.com/...
