I spent 300 on the Quest 2, which can now be had refurbished for much less. Can't say that the features are much better. This sold at 600 is a bit extreme, especially for what it is, a console accessory.

New World, Halo, Siege, Destiny 2 require windows 11 and performance is spotty. Steam Deck recently crashed in new world running off battery. Factory resetting video driver because of windows update to the valve provided driver now sends OS to recovery menu unable to boot. New world should of worked from SD OS but the anti cheat fails to register. It would be alot nicer if it worked. Which is kind of the point of consoles.

You cannot get 2230 for $100. Maybe 150 if you are lucky or part of a laptop addon. Then you have to worry if it is of quality enough to maintain cooling performance. As for modding a normal size stick you'd have to get a modded back side casing to ensure cooling. I guess that is possible but would not look as premium. Who knows.
