@kewlkat007
"Says who? How many players participate in Dota or League of legends?"
MOBA games have always been a sub genre with a low player count, what you're using isn't a valid comparision. That's like asking, how many players participate in Left 4 Dead, it's a survival co-op game or how many players participate in FIFA, that's a sports game. When it comes to shooters in a large open space, people always expect it to have a la...
They might need it to boost Steam Machine sales but if it does really well without Half-Life 3 then we might never see it for a long while.
I'm sure they will come back to it since the story still has many unanswered questions like where is Adrian Shephard from Half Life: Opposing Force? Hope to see HL3 someday...
@Delta
"L4D has a considerable lower player count but no one is up in arms."
That's because it's mainly a co-op game... Most co-op games are expected to be 2 or 4 players, I rarely see anything higher than that unless it's a survival mode like Gears of War's horde mode which is 5.
"Plz someone tell me why and game MUST have a high player count?"
-It's a multiplayer only game, you expect...

He talks about latency of The Last of Us starting at 3:05 but doesn't show aiming which I'm curious how it is also. He did say it's playable, nothing that will stop you from enjoying the games.

"Other latency analyses were revealing. Gaikai handles Bulletstorm rather well, sometimes even matching the 133ms input lag of the Xbox 360 - an astonishing achievement." -Digital Foundry
I just linked a thorough analysis of Gaikai back in 2012, now I'll wait for your reply which consists of more bullshit. If t...
Here's a comparision of Gaikai (which is now Playstation Now) versus OnLive from Digital Foundry:
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
One thing to point out is that they say that Gaikai can smoothly do 30fps in 720p resolution. (games like Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us are going to hold most of it's charm with very few on screen artifacts.)
Very well written blog about the past and present of gaming. I made fun of the three page manuals with a friend a week ago and we agreed that it was always interesting to know a little extra about the characters and backstory since some details go missing while playing the game.
The disc locked content was the worst and Capcom is at fault for introducing that. Back then, you had access to everything and didn't have to worry about DLC to complete the story.
lol The funny thing is that he noticed that Insomnia's comment was proper a few hours later and then he desperately tried finding the word "Edit" all over the website. :P
How can you not know that the PS4 is $400 when that's one of it's more relevant advantages currently.
Though I will agree that Absolution was not the same as previous Hitman games, I don't think anyone should be glad that the game was cancelled since it had zero details to what it was going to have. Maybe it was going back to being more sandbox and less linear, we don't know that or anything and we might never know. The problem here is that we might not be seeing another Hitman for many years since the last gap was 6 years.
Selling 1 million in just the North America continent in 24 hours versus selling 1 million in 13 countries which also includes North America in 24 hours...
...Which one is more impressive? If you said the first one then your answer is correct and that's the PS4. There's a reason why Xbox One's week by week sales are more "impressive" because Sony burned through their whole PS4 North America and Europe stock faster than Microsoft. So as the PS4 was outsol...
@lolCHILLbro
"Well considering that PS4 is 25% cheaper than Xbox One, it should of sold 25% more in the US"
That makes no sense.
@fanboybeatdown
"You are making too much sense."
The fact that you came out to protect that logic makes me think that you and lolCHILLbro could be one person or you two haven't hit high school yet with that flawed understanding of numbers.
@m...
Edonus, you never fail to make us smile with those ignorant comments. That's why we accept you with open arms in the N4G community, keep making us laugh. :)
PS4 outselling 1mil in one continent vs Xbox One 1mil worldwide is an amazing feat. That means that those other countries that still need to get the PS4 will add more to that number.
If an issue is found then it should be reported on gaming websites and such, that's how the higher-ups take notice to fix it with a patch.
One problem that lies with you is that if you hate how the news is being done in this website, why are you here? A question you can never answer because you enjoy wasting your time with illogical comments.
Thing is, not every PS4 comes with a camera so that wouldn't be a problem against your privacy.
If it's a PC that looks like a console, then it will.
If that becomes the official price, I'm definitely going to buy a Steam Machine in the future that goes along with the PS4. PS4 will be for physical discs and great exclusives and the Steam Machine will be for digital games since Valve has the best deals for digital games.
@Xof
lol Again with this "they're only listening to consumers for the profit" talk. Are the consumers satisfied in the long run? To me, they can take all my money as long as I get the value for it or more with the deals.
Everyone needs money, but it's about how they do it...if you're fair with it, no problem. If they listen to the consumers without hesitation, then I respect that even more.
On topic, I can't wait for...
I find it funny how people that think digital only distribution is the future still don't know that physical and digital can both co-exist with each other. Many of your favorite games can be downloaded digitally now and there's nothing stopping you from doing that.
By the way, look at what happened to the PSP Go, the Xbox fanboys should be glad they added a Blu-Ray player to the console. Reading the comments, it's crazy how only the Xbox fanboys accept this digit...
He was telling the truth since those same "apologists" do deny anything coming from NeoGAF regarding any negative insider info on the Xbox One. Now that it's positive, it's "leet's beeliieeve!"
He must of struck one of your nerves since you came out on the defensive because you're one of them.
@nukeitall
"The things I care for is, the system isn't constantly down for maintenaince or can't keep up."
Online gaming on PS3 since 2009 and enjoying it, even after first experiencing the Xbox 360... I barely ever notice those down times. They come in very rarely, mostly when sales really go up and the PSN gets flooded with many people at one time or during the mornings when people are getting ready for the day.
What I lik...
