"Xbox has a strong history of Multiplayer"

And so does PlayStation. SOCOM II did impressive numbers back in the day.

https://www.gamespot.com/ar... "SOCOM II breaks records online"

But you wouldn't know that because you let Microsoft and their corporate slaves brainwash you.

Stopped reading at, "Sony and Microsoft couldn't give a damn about each other it's just business on there end and making money of each and everyone of us."

You would be one of the worst businessmen if you thought marketshare wasn't important. Public perception is what tips the balance, they need to show why X is better than Y which is a battle of minds and hardware, same definition to what a war is.

To say it doesn't matter is wh...

Being a $60 GaaS game is the reason it stopped at 3 and not more.

Had it launched without the DLC controversy; $136 of paid DLC on top of the $60 needed to play the game, then there was the pre-order bonuses, this game would have had a healthy player base right now.

I still vividly remember how a majority of cosmetics was locked to pay only which do any favors with the weak amount of content.

Making it F2P was a good move, but it should...

How aren't people buying games when GoW sold 3+ million in the first week which is more than many other games, you dolt.

It's probably in combination of those people that can't play it on their barebones Xbox so the only thing they can do is watch till they can finally watch E3 and wait again watching masterpieces like these.

"We’ve got some exciting news to share. We proudly announce Miami Street, a project that Electric Square has been working on with our partners at Microsoft Studios."

Partially true, maybe Electric Square developed the game itself and Microsoft Studios helped with the GaaS part on how to rip off their consumers with years of statistical data from their Gears of War and Halo lootbox, MT stuff.

I'm not really sure what they're trying to ac...

Seeing you all argue amongst yourselves is kind of entertaining...

...because you can clearly pinpoint the very low bar you all expect to be satisfied.

How about a bunch of new AAA IPs alongside the re-emergence of some old ones. Give Forza, Gears, and Halo a break for one or 2 E3s and focus on bringing new experiences or old classics with new mechanics. When they brought back Killer Instinct, that was a really good sign for great things to come, but I gu...

Gameplay for anyone curious:
https://www.youtube.com/wat...

It looks like an Android game ported to PC.

It's literally a racing game where you time the acceleration and brake with one button just like an Android game. There's even a casino slot system to unlock new cars using some cash currency which I bet will be purchasable using real money.

Welcome to the matrix...

I agree, a lot of politicians are bought out. I mean, did people just forget about Net Neutrality?

What happens is that they give out the illusion that a change is being made, but it's not completely. As, a lot of these laws don't take the full step, just a half or quarter step and just finish there. The problem is, the masses rely on the government too much that they tell them what's ok for them to follow. So now that...

A lot of the Rare Replay games can be played through emulators even on a laptop or Android and even inject high-res textures and the other game I can think of other than Sunset Overdrive is Halo 5.

I also have a mid to high end PC, MSI RX 480 8GB & 1600x CPU, and the chances on getting an Xbox One has become 0, even for the X. Back before building it, I thought of it for Gears since me and my best friend played all the others, especially during high school we would at t...

And Battlefront 2 wasn't a cash grab? At least Watch Dogs 2, Wildlands, Siege has gotten some free new content which aren't yearly IPs.

What has EA put out lately? A Way Out wasn't developed by EA and Battlefield V is looking like it's trying hard to target the Fortnite crowd, a real cash grab move.

Bringing back Splinter Cell even though it doesn't pull a lot of sales in the past says that at least they try to listen to old fans and h...

Also, Deus Ex: Human Revolution took place in Detroit and had similar topics. Nobody gave a shit at the time, but that was back when SJWs kept their mouth shut in gaming journalism. That's the problem, you let one slide, more will do the same and it becomes like this where being "diverse" or whatever will factor into review scores to "make a difference." Fuck off.

"The main character’s blackness in the story is never addressed, like it doesn’t matter. It should: African-Americans have a long history of experiencing exactly the kinds of discrimination that’s so important to Detroit. Martin Luther King, Jr. is an inspiration for the androids’ demonstration. And this game is Detroit, Michigan, of all places — a city where race and class figure into so much of its politics. It has a history, but you will be hard-pressed to find it. "

@Darthv2

Do you really think it takes an average of 2 days to finish games? How does one measure success by tracking the collection of in game items? That doesn't mean they liked it or not or if they bothered to even finish the game.

Also, why is this player count and not sales? If I try out a timed trial or demo, do I count?

Stop making up excuses. This is the typical dodgy, untransparent MS we saw in 2013-2014. This E3, we're ...

How I miss people like RookieMonster and a few other Xbox fanboys creating spam accounts to make long lists of people that made them salty and going to every article to spam it.

Or how they believed anything "MrX" had to say, spamming false info after info. Xbox One secret sauce and hidden 2nd GPU...

After Xbox fanboys scattered out, I've been seeing more logical comments. Used to be way worse back in 2013-2014.

Seems like whatever SJWs that worked on Andromeda got moved towards this project.

The trailer disapppinted me, I can easily tell this game will be "fruity" allowing whatever stupid cosmetic item they can come up with. Most likely taken inspiration from Fortnite that I wouldn't be surprised they went this route to cater to everyone because they're also adding their own batgle royale mode.

This reminded me of the time Brothers in Arms was ...

Don't forget, they're not as popular, but watch MS do the 10th 180 in one gen and follow Sony's footsteps in the next few years, walking in their shadow since 2001.

I believe God of War sold like 3mil in the first week, but can you imagine The Last of Us 2?

It's good to see games like these that are amazing quality be this successful, it just means Sony will be pushing out even more games of this caliber and not just anything like a monke...

Only reason why I even watch MS's E3 conference is for the 1st and 2nd party PC games, but even they haven't done anything notable in that front, but like Relientk says, if it's more about the 3rd parties then it will be more exciting for me.

Last year was smoke and mirrors, somewhat expecting no different.

PC gamer trolling for reactions, actually on no side and just messing about.

Imagine SOCOM with the same engine used in Horizon though! Show Ubisoft how to make a real 3rd person squad tactical shooter!

Also, I miss MAG. They should hire the guys that did PlanetSide 2 to make a sequel to that.

But you're right, Sony should make some competitive shooters like they used to. It's actually no better time with eSports and Twitch going bigger than ever.

Septic, you sure you're ok? Because of course those numbers are important, but one has an equilibrium to not just talk about numbers, but showing why and how they get there through quality games, the other, just showing the "good" numbers and hiding all the failures which outweigh that.

This is like the time you guys cried about Sony revealing sales numbers and going, "sales don't matter," because Microsoft doesn't show theirs, but here, you&...
