It was a non profit fan translation, they don't need permission because they're not gaining any money from Square Enix's work. Not only that, but the maker of this patch had no knowledge that there was going to be an English translation in the works years later by SE themselves.
I don't blame Sky (the maker of the translation) at all. He did something that SE should of done by listening to the fans way earlier.
Also, Sky didn't distribute...

I'm wondering, where have you been at with all these NPD articles proving that the PS4 outsold the Xbox One even with the massive price drop? Almost 2 months combined, one to know about it and one to buy it, and it was still outsold by 50k+.

The SKU was first announced in May... That's enough time for people to know about it, wait till June 9th, and buy the Kinectless Xbox One. Most of the people that wanted to buy an Xbox One in May should of gathered in with the June buyers, but that wasn't the case. Why? Seems like Sony has a brighter vision for the future with the PS4 and selling a weaker console at the same price as it's competition was pretty...dumb for MS. We live in the age of the internet being used to gather...

Like you know how the story and characters are going to evolve. Like you know how the weapons are going to function, how much detail all the environments are going to contain. Have you seen the Xbox One vs PS4 comparisons of multiplatform games? Battlefield 4 & MGS: Ground Zeroes are some examples of how the PS4 version looks and performs better.

My phone can do most of the things the Xbox One currently can with other entertainment outside of gaming.
I can connect my laptop to my TV via HDMI or with the other video output and stream videos and movies.
So you know what will make me buy a $500 "video game console?" The games and Sony are known to deliver that much better with Playstation, they have never failed. If Microsoft can shift their focus to gaming primarily, then I'll consider buy...

Even without counting Vita's PS Plus games, It still gives more value than Games with Gold.
Think about it for a second. If Microsoft has no handheld system to give a game to & they haven't applied GwG to Xbox One yet, why is it still not doing better against the PS3 with the 360?

After reading the Twitter posts, Angry Joe was right about what he said. I think he should of acted more professionally, though he apologized at the end for using "harsh words," but still, he made a good point in his review about the overhype. Dan was just really butthurt about another reviewer's opinion which I find better than most other reviewers. 8.9/10 is still 9/10 to a lot of us like me that hate that kind of decimal system.

Not sure where you got the 95%, but everyone that I know can tell the difference. Do they care? That's up the viewer, but I would prefer 1080p with 60fps in certain genres that are fast paced.

The difference is very visible when you compare them together with the same material.
I think a lot of us are just used to playing at 30fps, but when you make the jump, going from 30 to 60fps games only...you'll be amazed to how smooth the game looks & feels.
I played DCUO on both PS3 & PS4, I prefer the latter for it's 60fps. Makes combat much more fluent.

People do pay for cosmetics. Example? Look at Xbox avatars. It helps making your character unique & really stand out. If the pricing is right, trust me, it will eventually start making profits.
