I see people throw around Geometry Engine as the reason why PS5 perform better when we know its part of the architecture in Xbox Series X as well so that is not the reason unless its not ready in the Direct X Ultimate API which it should since developers got the final Xbox dev kits in June.
I get what he is saying they don't make
No next-gen enhancements from what I could see from this article they will make you buy new versions again from the looks of it.
I don't think you even need to open it up just blow in compressed air from the bottom of Series X and dust will blow out from the top.
That not on MS table but on Sony to update and release drivers for their hardware to run properly on Windows.
Where can you get Series X in Sweden?
CDON
INET
Komplett
ProShop
Webhallen
MediaMarkt
All pre-order are booked since a few days after pre-order released. If you pre-order now you will not get the Series X until December at best. Series S however can still be pre-ordered in many stores for the November 10th release.
Looks like an M2-slot at the top right of the board @ 4:33
Edit: yeah its the same place as shown on 2:52
Atmos requires certified headsets/speakers.
Not optimized for Series X/S according to article. One X is 10 seconds with external SSD for comparison.
Just googled it first thing that showed up but you are correct. Doesn't affect me much tho I have the Samsung T5 Portable SSD 2TB it only goes up to 540MB/s. Guess you could use NVME enclosure to use USB-C to its max.
Xbox Series has USB 3.2 ports according to a quick google search that is 20Gbits. Probably same for PS5. The USB-C port is probably for VR because its easy to plug in and out.
@arkard Yeah but this is comment was about Gears 5. If a game is 1800p and 30 fps on Series X its its not gonna be 1440p on the Series S. Its just math.
Isn't Series X 4K 120fps? Then Series S should be 1440p 120fps as its designed.
Yeah 3080 is more value but some people just want the best no matter the price.
Have 9990KS and waiting to see if PCI 3.0 vs 4.0 will limit performance of the 3090 and also if it will fit in my case if its all good I think I will upgrade my RTX 2080ti.
Its also funny because World of Warcraft isn't even on console so PC gamers should thank consoles for making SSD standard? SSD have basically been in most gamers PC for years but games never required them because of games being multi-platform for consoles...
You get it. =/= satisfied customers better for MS in the long run something Sony have had an advantage with forever.
Really? I see a lot of fanboys defending and calling the article lame when IGN are just highlighting the advantage of bringing your old controllers to your new system there is nothing wrong with that. Just accurate facts and if you can't see that I will leave you be.
Its actually an advantage even if its just a small one. I don't need to buy 3 more controllers for party games or playing split-screen. Fanboys need to calm down no reason to cry about something like this.
@Zeeb Can you use facts and logics instead of just repeating what some fanboys pretend to be facts.
Are you actually competent enough to explain what the difference is between geometry engine in the two machines instead of saying bullshit such as "Geometry Engine is 100% exclusive". Geometry engine isn't something new.
