This is good news for anyone just wanting to play ubisoft latests single player games at a cheap price point on Xbox. You can just sub Ubisoft+ for a month and cancel at 15$ instead of 100$ or whatever their deluxe edition costs.

I mean I have never played Far Cry or Assassins Creed more than a month so the value proposition is great.

Never watched/looked into TGA but all the trailers recently released are giving me more hype than E3.

Actually quick resume works on disk based games. The game state is cached on the SSD.

I would say play on RT on for sure if you have VRR capable TV.

Ever Given is the boat name. What you see is on the side is the company name. You can actually see Ever Given written but its small.

Its specific for headset because you can turn any headset to Dolby Atmos or DTS:X headset. Its just licensed software. For Soundbars/Home Theatre are usually already licensed for Dolby or DTS sometimes both because they are multiple speaker setups for surround.

Because then it would need to cost more for the end consumer. At least now you have the option to choose to spend that money saved if you want to get DTS:X instead. The 6 month trial is Dolbys way of upselling their product.

Its not a Doly Atmos licensed product, so you need to pay license. You don't have to use Atmos for your 3D Audio you can use the free Windows Sonic one or even pay for DTS:X if you want. The licenses works on any headset because the chipset in Xbox One X and Series consoles have audio codecs for these.

I have the Corsair HS75 XB and it is a Dolby Atmos licensed headset that automatically works with atmos without paying for license.

Most PC's have Bluetooth in their WiFi chipset don't need to buy 2.4Ghz adapter.

What I meant was that online is included in the game pass ultimate subscription so if I want to play online on console I don't need to pay any extra because online play should be free. Console makers are charging 10$ a month for me to play on another publishers game servers is weird or worse paying for peer to peer connections.

@RazzerRedux}

About controller not in "either" case as you imply. Series controller can swap instantly between 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth by clicking the sync button you don't need to reconnect.

I can only speak for myself as I have PC and Xbox Series X and I think Game Pass Ultimate is even better if you have both because you get some titles specifically for PC that can also play better such as Age of Empires. Then I can play titles that are only...

What is even this bug? Not first game that had stutters even Gears 5 had it before it was patched. Should be common knowledge by now.

Almost had to go by a hundred comments before finding the first comment with common sense. Devs saved time and did not put any extra effort to compress the Xbox version compared to the PC version being the same size is a dead giveaway.

It should disable achievements/trophies for people that buy cheats beceause its not really an achievement when you skip on the grind or challenge.

Dude if anything they will make more money because now people that didn't plan to buy it anyway might just as well try it on Game Pass and the developers still gets paid by Microsoft.

Going from PC high settings to ultra settings can have pretty big impact on performance compared to what you get. From what I heard consoles are running on High-ish settings. No facts here just talking from experience on gaming on PC.

It probably have to do with the fact they asked the developers. It easier when the hardware is made for the developers rather than the developers having to work around the hardware.

Games will run slightly different on either plattform depending on Developers, Lead platform, API, Dev kits, Optimization.

@Chevalier

I said Series X is using the RDNA2 architecture for its geometry engine. PS5 is using different set of instructions that is said to be better than RDNA2 ones. Geometry engine is not not something new, the first one being from 1981. Its literally the reason we have 3D graphics. I just don't think Geometry Engine makes the PS5 perform better than the ~20% computational advantage Series X has so there must be more to it than that. With that said I learnt nothin...

@Zeeb A patent on how PS5 customized geometry engine you know this just mean PS5 does it differently it doesn't mean Geometry Engine doesn't exist in Series X as its part of the RDNA2 architecture. Watch the Hot Chips presentation of Xbox Series X it says Geometry Engine with ML is on the chip. Gears 5 even use VRS today.
