ive always wondered about these contract deals. so you buy the system at say the low price of 199.99 from eb games then your xbl/psn payments follow? would there have to be some sort of credit check done at eb games before you got the new system? maybe have your credit card on file? and how good would your credit rating have to be. to be honest im not even sure how it works for the 360 as i had mine long before this idea was around

the last 2 games i imported were final fantasy type-0 and yu-gi-oh tag force 6, not sure how that hurt NA sales. i see how importing could hurt regional sales but the ones who import usually import the titles that are not coming to their area and thats where i see region locking hurting the consumer.
i have always thought "region locking" hurt the consumer
well i dont think it will release in the same quarter as Bioshock as take 2 owns both, it would be like releasing halo and gears of war or metriod and zelda or god of war and uncharted in the same month

sonys second screen is the vita, im sure the ps4/vita combo is going to be way better than the ps3/vita combo. if they go the same way nintendo did with the gamepad, im only looking at xbox for next gen, as that gamepad does not feel comfortable to me
the gamepad is rouhly $85(us dollars?) to replace, when billed by nintendo

yea those atari's i remember i had 3 different versions and a C64, plus i had most of segas mistakes sega cd, 32x, saturn. those were many years ago and i remember them costing 200plus each.
i would rather pay 600+ for a system that lasts 6-10years than a 300+ that lasts 3-5

to be honest with me, most games if im semi interested in them, my buying point is 29.99, like i bought littlebigplanet karting, black ops1, wwe13, halo4(mis-print in an ad), hd collections, driver, batman AC, and the list goes on and most of those i wouldve skipped if they didnt hit that price point

you know this bugs me a game that i was looking forward to and likely my game of the year is now not playabel for me as i dont have internet in my home due to the sole fact that its not offered there, and with no internet you cant play this game

my opinon for the new consoles from sony and ms, if either of them are heavy on the motion controls(ps move/kinect) thats the system im going to avoid, i want a controller and if both go heavy on the motion controls then i would jump to the wii u as at least it has a pro controller
if the next box is going with the shoveware kinect 2.0, no thanks. i already lost fable which still bugs the hell outta me. hope they dont mess with my halo in the same way
i see flaws in every FF, of course there were things about 13 and 13-2 i didnt like, the lack of summons i remember ff6 had so many i didnt know what to do with them, i dont really like the "techie" "modern" style of the games, personally i would rather a more medevil look. i can name a number of things wrong with each ff. no FF is perfect i look forward to playing them all as i like rpgs.
