I'm looking forward to FF13-3, I'm going to wait and see about the tales games as tales from grace f I didn't like so much, the story felt like it was done many times before. I think dragon age 3 is going to be either a next gen game. I love the edler scrolls but doubt I will play this mmo as I don't have Internet in my area where I live.
I would preorder one if it was. the 1st ps3 could play the older games but then they removed it, they might do the same with the ps4 after a year or so to make it cheaper after the generation is in full swing.

I don't really understand why people complain about the vita memory cards, does anyone not remember when the psp first came out and there 16GB memory cards were the same price as the vita's 32GB.

I never buy games digital, 1st I have dial up for Internet speed, 2nd when I buy retail games when I'm done with them I can sell them, if I choose. 3rd my friends can borrow a retail copy but not a digital one and vice versa
thats the way it feels like to me these days too, they also own the yu-gi-oh games to. but all i hear and see about konami is metal gear this and metal gear that. a castlevaniabfor vita would be nice.

Steam sales do me no good as I can't stay connected long enough and to give u an idea of what my Internet speed is, it takes me about 6 hours to download an update the size of 32mb for either the 360 or ps3. Most games are at least GBs now so it would be painfully long to download. If the steambox can offer a physical way to play games like discs I would likely buy this machine but as it stands only the nextbox/Wii u/ps4 have my attention as I don't need an Internet connection to play...
I bought a vita, came with AC:L game is game, my only problems with the vita are not having a video output to tv, and can't play retail psp games. The memory card price don't bother me as when I bought a psp years ago and the new 16GB memory cards came out they were 80 something bucks plus tax. you make some very good points, i myself when buying games always buy new unless i cant find it new and i always wait for sales for a lot of games.
by not letting me borrow/lend a game is wrong and in my eyes and cost them sales as i borrowed far cry 2, loved it so i pre-ordered far cry 3, same as with demon souls to dark souls.
Gamestop/Ebgames are a problem but this way hurts the gamers, would there be a way for Gamestop/Ebgames to pick up the tab somehow...
i own 3 ps3's, not sure if you know this but you can only have 2 activated at 1 time, for me that means that my ps+ games cant be played on 1 of the systems along with some of my downloaded games purchased digital cause you can only have them on 2 machines
on topic i 100% agree with what your saying about the ps4 and my friends and i borrow games back and forth all the time, and we all own more than 1 ps3, i think it would hurt hardware sales

i have ps+, i agree with you i get free rentals with my subscription, i dont pay for plus for the instant game collection, i pay for it because of the auto-updating, and the 40%/50% off price disounts. the free rentals are just a bonus as i would be paying anyways.

this is so true, let the psp die, also for someone like me who owns a vita, i keep seeing games i want being released in japan for the psp, then NA gets them through the PSN, sorry but i dont want a digital verison of the game ...

the way i see it as 7yrs/6yrs ago i bought a 360/ps3, they each had hdmi ports but the cheapest hdtv was still alot of money, today i have hdtvs now and the price of them were nowhere close to what they cost, when i was buying my systems. i can see the next gen systems having the port for 4k to future proof there systems so they last longer
