I'm tired and maybe I missed it, but I think the best feature is allowing a friend, who's at there home to take control of your game and help you pass that level/boss.
On topic in the article it mentions Sony giving headset with the console, is that a rumor or have they confirmed that?
Also I think PS+ is going to change, either charge more or add tiers where current plus would be one, gaikai service/streaming onto vita another, and then a platinum ...

I do for the simple fact that consoles are "hassle free" maybe I'm biased, but being hassle free is worth more than anything a PC gaming rig can offer. Hell even a SNES is better, even though a PC can emulate its games.
yeah, I didn't like it to much, 2 was much better, never played 3 and likely won't.
Ubisoft gives you stuff, with their uplay which are awarded to you for getting point/trophies. Also some games offer a wallpaper if you get a platinum(ff13 comes to mind) but I also would like to see more of it, or that idea to become the standard.

So if I'm understanding you right some of your notifications are yours and your friends trophy/achievements? How did you link your PSN ID and gamertag with the ps3/360, as my friends and I thought that would be cool, but we didn't know it could be done. Even looking at your own contact info doesn't give you an option to add your PSN or gamertag

I would have to disagree with that because if you think of holding the controller, your thumbs are what would be used to push options/share on the PS4, your thumbs would move up to the options/share from the sticks or your thumbs would move inwards from either the D-pad/or face buttons. leaving the middle on the controller untouched by your thumbs which is where the screen would be.

"without turning the PS4 on or even owning one" that won't happen, there will be some kind of security check, where if your on your Vita on the bus and want to play a PS4 game, Gaikai will 1st connect to your PS4 at home(confirming you have one) then allow you to stream the game to the Vita while your on the bus. Or maybe you can only sign up to Gaikai with the PS4, and no options will appear on the Vita to stream unless a PS4 with your account is registered.

How many games on the ps3 actually used more than 4? Developers just don't make games that support more than 4 locally and the titles that do are rare. Hell even split screen gaming is becoming less common

Reads article, because DRM has failed, they decide to go the MMO route, to ensure that an "always online" requirement is still involved.
EDIT: DRM can allow a computer to systematically disobey its owner. Which is what Simcity does when not connected to the internet, forces you to quit playing, and gives you a timer
I don't buy anything digital, but I would assume the "terms of agreement" would likely void the resale, as I've never heard of people selling their digital media collection.
Consumer Protection Laws are what was used to rule in favor of the consumer in this ruling I believe

I was wondering when people would want to sell the digital games, and wouldn't that sale make the title a used game?

I complained about an always online feature, and always online DRM. I am supporting offline play and want offline features, Diablo 3 was the 1st PC game...
"significant amount of consoles not connected to the internet" then where is the native backward compatibility for the PS4 because Gaikai wouldn't work on a significant amount of consoles not connected to the internet. so they are going to pick and choose who they alienate.

I agree without those publishers, I believe that all the consoles stats, would be higher. The PS4 at 22%, Vita at 9% or 360 at 6% for publishers intend on games releases for example would be a bit higher
did you read the article? that was only one of the surveys taken, they also survey what percentage of publishers want to release titles on different platforms.
