Also didn't Capcom say it was cheaper to have DLC on disc rather than just on the store. As they have been caught red handed of charging for the DLC while it was on disc(which I think is wrong). So with a GOTY version wouldn't the same delivery system(on disc) still be cheaper? I don't see why it wouldn't be different for other publishers as well. Most games that I have that are "game + DLC" it has been all on disc. Well all but the Sony on...
Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, all the DLC was on the disc, when I got the Ultimate and GOTY versions of those. Its the same publisher so....
but Skyrim already has a GOTY version out(the cover has a little GOTY stamp on it and no it doesn't have the DLC), so this new version maybe an Ultimate version? like Fallout New Vegas was with all the DLC. they can't release 2 GOTY can they?
Edit: Never mind the stamp says it won game of the year still, if it releases for 39.99 I will likely pick it up
Games that have these choices is what draws me to them, I never would have played the Fable series or Infamous series. and is the reason I am buying Souls Sacrifice.
the whole article seems to stem from a couple lines(quotes) from another article(MCV) and in that article(MCV), quotes from another article(Gamespot)
but before it went through all those hands the quote(Q&A) was
"On activation codes for secondhand PS4 titles?
It's a publisher decision. We are not talking about it. Sorry."
Edit: It seems to have been spun pretty bad IMO. Here is a link to actually what was sa...
Gaikai doesn't work at all for me, no internet service offered where my home is. You made a very good point about the 720, that it will basically have 2 entire gens of games and that would be a major selling point.
A PS4 model with the cell, and have a "PS3 mode." Even if they only offered them for the 1st year or 2 along with one without, it would make everyone happy.
Does he really use the word "dramatically" everytime he is in the spotlight?
those are some positive numbers for the 3DS
BC via Gaiaki is "a poor mans band-aid" BC has become the norm now, no matter what you play on, new smartphones play all the old games, when upgrading your pc you can always play your old games, the Wii U lets you play Wii games, 720 will play 360 games(rumor),
the only one left in the dark, is the PS4 with its BC via Gaiaki, at least give the consumer the option to have BC or not
Edit: I honestly believe this choice will hurt Sony in the long run, ...
if these rumors are true, looks like I will be getting a x720 so I can play all my next gen games along with my 360(since my 360 RROD a while back)
out of all the next gen systems looks like the PS4 will have a handicap since its the only one without hardware BC
thanks for all the replies, I think I'll wiki the 1st one and then put Witcher 2 on my backlog of games
having not played Witcher 1 or 2, is Witcher 3 a continued story like Assasins Creed games follows Desmond?, or like Final Fantasy where, new number means new story? or more like Elder Scrolls where they just leap forward in time for each installment?
I just don't want to jump into a series, if I'm going to be missing a portion of the story
They(next gen) really have to bring their A game as I am not impressed yet with any facts or rumors I have read. The 2 things that I have read that are the most important to me is,
1)720 will have an add-on for BC, Sony could learn something from that.
2)PS4 allows a someone to take control of your game to beat a level/boss/etc without having to be there.
Everything else(rumors of facts) about next gen really doesn't have me wanting to b...

The Vita 3G model likely didn't sell all that well because of the companies you had to sign up the data contract with. Thats's likely the reason for the sale as I bought my Wifi model because I didn't want to deal with Rogers, same as everyone else I know with one
I really don't know if anyone would use this, but adding Xperia phones to the playstation ecosystem can't be a bad thing cause the more options the better
I have a PS3 as well as others, I buy the "best version" of the game on that console, for example the Bethesda games I buy, on the 360, Ubisoft games on PS3, etc. Now that the Wii U is getting support and if the better version is on the Wii U,then thats where I will buy it.
TBH I don't really care about 360 or PS3 exclusives, to much either
I agree, more games the better! anyone who doesn't think so, is not a gamer
good point, I am interested in those 2 titles, to see what the gamepad can offer because I don't really care about their exclusives all that much and if they add something that I want, I would buy a Wii U for them
I hear ya, I still have my PS2 copies also, but would have bought this if it was the International versions, Not buying DLC to have the international, its BS
Actually I've noticed a lot of games releasing a version with all the DLC, but Bethesda do it all the time, The Elder Scrolls 4,Fallout 3,Fallout NV, and I will bet it will happen to Dishonored.
