The original STAR WARS trilogy saw (mostly) American heroes fighting (mostly) British baddies.
I think it's simply that English/European-accented villains tend to sound cooler and have added gravitas (in my view)

Surely if a game is good it doesn't matter what genre it belongs to. You could have the most 'original' game in the world, but if it plays like crap then where's the benefit?

"Shooter" doesn't have to mean "military"... I for one hope not in this case. It would be nice to pay a cop fighting corruption in his own ranks for example... Be even cooler if it was set in the 1970's too!

Whether it looks better or not, these rows cover up a very alarming truth: We consumers are being lied to, by developers and so-called journalists, on a regular basis and we let them get away with it because we're too busy bickering about who's 'right'.
