I use my Wii a bit but went through about 3-4 month's not touching it. And go figure, the only game I really like is Super Paper Mario where you hold the wii controller like a nes controller.
This is kind of brutal. I don't mind advertising in games when it blends in to the environment (such as putting a BK in a city of a racing game or something) but this just totally stands out and is an eye sore. Hopefully we can spray over top of these! :P

Really good game, but does anyone think Q3 is a bit fast paced to try and control with a gamepad? I guess it'll play very differently.
The companies definitely need to swallow their pride and merge the formats. I think the stalemate is just a turn off to new buyers and slowing down the adoption rate (potentially fatal to both). Especially the fact that support from the film companies is segregated between the two. The casual consumers dont want to invest $500+ into new technology and only get to watch 1/2 the movies available as a result.

I can't see the video from work, but these "coming soon!" type hacks are almost always fake. They don't release the hack right away because it's not real.
You can't help but feel a bit bad for people who get scammed on ebay, but this deserves a darwin award. He asked to look inside the box and the seller refused? That would be kind of a big red alarm for me.

The problem with their strap is that the strap is connected to the wiimote via a thin string which I can easily see breaking. I added a loop of fishing tape to mine just to be sure.

A Blu-Ray movie won't compress 50%. The movie is already heavily compressed and you will be lucky to get an extra 1% on top of that.

Ever heard of the lurking variable? We also happen to be 1 month before christmas where sales of all consoles usually triple or quadruple past average.
Both games are great online. I think it's stupid to compare the two because they are really very different games. GOW is more of a strategy based game like Counter Strike and COD3 is more run-n-gun like Battlefield. Obviously each game will have it's appeal to different audiences.
...let's all watch some paint dry while Sony try's to recoupe the $300+ loss on each console sold to be used as a linux terminal.
I'd take the PC, sign the contract, sell the PC, buy a Wii, a 360, a cheaper PC, and give some money to my gf to buy herself a PS3...
This is looking better then I expected. Definitely looking forward to more of a sim approach to a skating game.
