Dammit, I was hoping for a new Darkstalkers!
You heard it here folks. Any game with a cover system is officially a Gears of War ripoff.
Despite the fact that Kill.Switch came out 3 years before Gears of War, but no one really remembers that game, so we give credit to a game that took two game engines (Kill.Switch and Resident Evil 4. Cliffy B said it himself, not me) and put it in a blender and added a chainsaw gun.
I see a lack of Shenmue 2 and Ninja Gaiden Black... but they put in Mortal Kombat Deception?
... I'm not the only one confused by this, am I?
Where's that damn tux?
Aside from that, that actually looked pretty decent.
The article just lost all credibility once those words were written.
Oh God, I needed a good laugh, thank you so much!
On a side note, Ed Boon, co-creator of the MK franchise, has stated that his favorite fighting game series of all time is in fact Tekken. Even more so than MK.
Just thought I'd drop that little tidbit for you guys.
To be fair, while I rather do prefer to have the language set in Japanese (just because the game is so Japanese that hearing it in English makes me feel a bit awkward, but that's just me. This has nothing to do with the quality of the English voice actors at all.), I do miss hearing Mark Hamill as Majima.
Especially considering that Majima is going to playable in this game. Ah well, atleast we're getting the games in the US, right?
And consider me sold Sega. :)
The character model looked like Danie Craig.
In other words, the character model didn't look like Bond at all.
I think you overestimate Eurocom (the developer).
Play any of the previous Bond games Post-Goldeneye, including Quantum of Solace.
Did any of those games come even close to the feel of Goldeneye?
Fuck this, I'm going back to playing TimeSplitters. Now there's your modern day Goldeneye.
It's such a shame that Sega had to kill off Segata Sanshiro.
:(
I nearly cried when he died while saving Sega and the Dreamcast...
*tear*
Worster? The fuck does that mean?
"Shut up and shoot Angie!"
If that quote wasn't burned into your memory then you definitely didn't have much trouble with the game.
Then after nearly dying, almost killing Le Chiffre with a metal butterknife (and gets stopped by a black Felix Leiter... I hope I wasn't the only Bond fan out there that found this to be rather uncomfortable), winning the money, FINALLY getting in the Astin Martin just so he could flip the car 20 seconds later, getting nut tortured by Le Chiffre (Who else hummed The Nutcracker theme while this scene played out? Come on, I can't be the only one who found this to be hilarious), having L...
Okay, this is going to be a long one so I gotta split it up into parts.
Sure, secret agents kill (at least in spy movies they do). It's part of their job. But they're not just trained killers; they're way more than just that.
And yet the only thing I believe in Daniel Craig is the trained killer part (which Bond is, like a secret agent, much more than that), and I still have trouble believing the trained part other than him being able to shoot a g...
OH! OH! OH! OH! OH! OH! OH!
Dude, we get it already.
That's your first problem. Bond's not supposed to be a trained killer. He's supposed to be a Secret Agent. Surprisingly enough, there's a big difference between the two.
Agreed.
Nothing about Casino Royale was good (or Bond-good to say the least). Ranging from the crappy and unremarkable villain (He cries blood and he's good a poker. Amazing Bond villain, wouldn't you say?) to the movie being flat-out booooring and the action scenes being so few and so short.
By the way, who else raged when the "car chase" was only 20 seconds long and results in Bond flipping his car over some dumb broad he's fallen in love with ...
Actually, the BluRay-less PS3 prediction was from some other guy and not Pachter.
And in regards with the Wii HD, he recently claimed there now wont be a Wii HD, and if there ever will be, it'll be too late since Sony has now taken that for their own.
Hey, if that new Yakuza PSP game is announced for the states, I'll rebuy my PSP.
Lost it a couple months back so I do need to get a new one, but Yakuza would definitely motivate me a lot more.
