The only times CGI really stood out was last gen. On PlayStation 2 CGI really stood out and made some games feel awkward.
Nowadays though we have CGI that is really similar to the actual gameplay graphics, which is really great.
You have to calm down and learn to accept criticism. Even if it's annoying at times. You did say bad guns, and that was implying that WW2 guns were bad. The guy just gave you an example of why they are not bad.
Again, learn to accept criticism, and not whine about trivial things. Also it wasn't even nit-picking.
I hope this fixes the Dragon Seekers quest, I can't continue the game with Farkas following me around, and being useless.
If this is true, why do people have to ruin everyone's fun by pulling stunts like these?
@hellvaguy
I kind of worded it wrong a little. I also meant to say it had a better frame rate than the PS3 counterpart. The graphics still look better than the console version once I applied all the of the best mods. I get about 40-50 FPS on my hardware, which isn't the best you can get, but it still surpasses the console 30 FPS.
Don't get me wrong though, I don't want to be labeled as a PC fanboy. I grew up with consoles all my life, and I don...
This isn't the first time this happened. Many gaming magazines back then rewarded games with a high score, only for the game to be complete garbage in the end.
Still it's not a good thing, and it does take away trust from gaming journalism.
I see Q.U.B.E. having a few sequels in the near future. The game looks really fun and challenging. A great alternative if you finished all the Portals, and you still want more similar but yet creative puzzles. :)
I agree, why is it when someone makes an improbable claim, they instantly turn into fanboys?
If you tell me, whoever uses the term fanboy at all in their comments, and is directing it at someone. They ARE the fanboys.
Yep. I have it for PS3 and wow what atrocity that was. I just recently got a slightly high-end laptop with a capable GPU, and holy hell does it look better than the 360 or PS3. Also I installed some HD 2k texture mods. The game looks ten times better than it already looked to begin with.
The only thing I really made fun of a lot in a video game was the 'Jason' scream in Heavy Rain, but that was in 2010.
My friends and I had fun yelling that out like morons, and we got bonus points for someone actually called Jason... LOL.
I agree. I didn't laugh at any of these. I'm easy to make laugh, it seems as gamingbolt just picked an atrocious array of pictures.
Like the arrow to the knee in Skyrim. It's not even the original dialogue, It's some Lord of the Rings drivel.
Oh well.
That's the first thing I thought of when I read the title of the article. Oh how unfunny that "meme" and "joke" is.
Oh what great lengths companies will go through, just to promote their products. :)
I don't think Microsoft or Sony will be stopping any time soon.
Like Agent said, the two companies are stronger than ever at this point, I don't see them missing out next-gen.
ROFL. Ass Effect, good one.
I enjoyed this game a lot. However I still prefer the old Nintendo DS version. I think the DS version, in my opinion, had better characters and an abundance of single player events.
The graphics and 3D look impressive in Mario Kart 7 though, that's one thing I prefer about this installment over the old DS version.
Yep. That's what I like about PC gaming. The endless customization. I do prefer console gaming though, since I grew up with consoles in the house. I also didn't really know many friends who were PC gamers when I was small. The only game I vividly remember being blown away by when I first started PC gaming was Half-Life.
I think it's worth it if you're a very big fan of Killzone 2&3. The first Killzone was rather 'meh' when it came out for me. I love Killzone 2&3 though, so I might purchase this when it comes out.
I do have Killzone 1 on PS2, although I wasn't a huge FPS fan at the time. I couldn't play it since my HDTV makes the game look horrid. I'm too lazy to purchase component cables. I'd say to look up YouTube videos of the game when it's rele...
Yeah he seems like a xenophobe.
I completely understand you. Just flipping out will not make your case any better. The best thing you could have done was ignore him, or told him that he missed your point. You just sounded rude how you worded all that.
I get replies like that all the time, I just ignore them or at least try to sound kind.
