Thats is true but they said it wont be a full on open-world game which is why i gave ME2 as an example :D
I hope its not just Uncharted with Star Wars coating. I would love to see something more along the lines of Mass Effect 2, something more open.
Mark my words, he says that probably becouse his next game is episodic. Sony hired him but they wont let him drop off the map for the next 5+ years working on something so the only real option is to either go episodic or indy with a small game. And seeing as this is Kojima i doubt he would settle for some small 1hour platformer.
In a way they already are. How many triple A titles do you know that launch in a complete state without trying to sell you DLC 2 years before the game is even out?
Big youtubers wont even cover your game unless you pay them a specific fee upfront. With some its a matter of being bombarded with so many requests that they let money do the tlaking others probably just followed suit.
There have been quite a few cases of Indy devs coming out saying how ridiculous it is some youtubers would demand over 5k just to do a small 5min video, look it up im being dead serious. Totalbiscuit talked about it on one of his podcasts as well.
When it come...
Truth is these critics dont write these kinds of articles becouse they care, they write em to spark some controversy and get some traffic. Notice how most SJW articles get like 10x the comments compared to a regular one?
Game sites are dying, they are desperate imo.
Its kinda silly to still expect some big DLC to hit GTAV at this point. Most likely the succes of GTA Online is to blame for that.
The thing that im kinda worried about is how this will affect GTA6. Could it be that the next GTA will just be a full on mmo where the story content plays out like Heists?
Im glad this game bombed.
Truth is Overwatch was a success becouse of Blizzard. If the tables were turned and Battleborn was from Blizz youd see the same kind of hype and numbers behind it as you see now for Overwatch.
Look at Diablo 3, it sold over 10mil copies on pc alone yet other top down rpgs struggled to sell even a mil. Path of Exile, which was considered one of the biggest out there never even reached over 500k players.
White knights be like...
Let me walk around the street with a umbrella just in case it starts raining so i can defend these poor women from falling raindrops.
The problem with these paid alphas is they never actually get finished. You pay for early access and then the devs just spend a chunk of that money balancing the existing features while they pocket the rest.
Every survival game so far was filled with promises of some grand experience and yet all you ever got was a empty map to run around in killing other players with the same few weapons. Even the zombies never actually work in ANY of these games. Hell, some titles like RUST even re...
This is the kinda game that only weeaboos could love.
Aww hell naw! Maybe it is if you spend the last 20 years on a island with only a Wii and XC.
Imagine if this was a woman. Feminists would be outraged screaming how they reduced a female to a slave, an objects you control with the press of a button.
I hope this review is wrong im about to pick this up today after work :(
Truth is alot of these games are too big to release in Q1.
Wherever they decide to set the next GTA i want there to be some huge forests for me to race through.
It looks like any other survival game out right now on PC. Either run around a empty map killing other players with the same 3 weapons or built yourself a small shack. So feature rich, such game, wow
To me the ui ruined this game. I like snowboarding and all i could think of watching this gameplay is why are all these silly numbers and lines popping up on the screen? Why cant i just enjoy the view while i do a downhill?
If they wanted to go the SSX route they shouldve done that becouse right now this is the equivalent of getting damage numbers kill streaks in Fifa, utterly ridiculous...
Its really sad how with the actual MGS 3 remake they just did a cheap port yet they go all out with these pachinko machines...
