These negative comments aren't getting my hopes down. Still a day one purchase for me. The only major title that disappointed me this gen so far has been MW2. Besides that all the other major games have lived up to the hype imo.
Same here. Unless there are only a few NPCs in a town I usually wouldn't even bother talking to everyone. Just restock, replenish, and check for side quests. I do tend to talk to everyone possible when playing WRPGs though.

Wow, this is the first time I've ever heard someone say they want a Final Fantasy game to be more of an action rpg then turn based. I have to disagree with you there. I wish they would stick with the completey turn-based formula.

I guess you've never played any 2D side-scrollers before then have you? Unlike many others I don't think a game is automatically bad just for being linear.
I'll probably be buying every game on that list except Star Trek Online. It's not that I'm not a fan of the series, but I'll only play 2 MMOs at once and SWTOR and WOW are going to be taking up those spots. Doesn't it make you guys feel good that your tax payer money will be going towards my gaming enjoyment? Damn this is gonna be one helluva year for gaming!
Been an Armored Core fan since day 1. I actually liked For Answer. My only complaints are the short mission lengths, overall game length, and the graphics could be a little better. I also think they should've kept the old controls. I don't have a problem with the arcady gameplay, but the controls just don't feel right with the style of gameplay.
Side note: Screw anyone that thinks this franchise should end.
Probably a game like Oblivion/Morrowind or one of the good Pokemon games. There's so much to do in games like that. I was going to say an MMO until I saw that they said no multiplayer.

Those screens look nice, but I still think they should've made the game more cartoony like Yoshi's Island or Super Mario World.

I think about this every time I play games from back in the days. Not only are games not as innovative, but not as creative either. The graphics weren't that good back then, but the games seem to be way more artistic when compared to modern games. Usually the music from an older game will even sound better. Maybe it's just me and the fact that I started gaming back then.
