I've been playing it on PC since I'm 360less at the moment, but if PS3 only owners want the franchise so bad I say give it to them. Why turn down money and not give the fans what they want? Just doesn't seem right to me.
I'm content with not being able to see any of the quarians without their enviro-suits. It makes them more mysterious and interesting.
Just like ME2's target audience were the GeOW players.
"While I managed to beat it in 26 hours with completing absolutely everything on Hardcore"
I find that hard to believe. I've clocked in only about 14hrs and I don't even have all the squad mates yet. Maybe he just skipped all the planet scanning.
More content to keep me busy until DA:O Awakening comes out. :)
Some of you guys make it seem like Sony and Microsoft are fighting for control of the world we live in.
By a long shot.
DLC should be free period. I'm alright with paying for full expansions of a game, but DLC is usually content that should have been in the original game or at least released for free.
First we lose some of the horror in RE5, then we lose some RPG in ME2, now we might lose some horror in Dead Space 2? WTH! A little bit of action is never bad, but we don't want our games being all action. Devs only catering to the casual gamers again.
Time to get a new TV eh? I remember I couldn't read the text on the cell phone in GTA4. That was a pain in the ass and I was playing the game on a 47" HDTV.
"As for mass effect2, i don't hate the game, i don't like RPG'S. "
Have you played ME2? Bioware stripped the hell out of the RPG elements in this game. Gameplay wise it's basically a TPS with dialogue options and special attacks (biotics and tech abilities). Not saying it isn't a great game, but Bioware tried to appeal to the wrong audience when they did the gameplay for this game.
I'll definitely play through this game multiple times, but probably not as many times as I played through ME1. I haven't finished ME2 but I can already tell it's going to be one of my favorite games. I just wish they didn't take away so many of the rpg elements that the first one had.
Both are great games. I personally like the Mass Effect series more, but I wouldn't say it's better than Uncharted. Different people like different games.
"But even the people with PC and Console have to chose where they play their new game."
True. I find myself buying most muliplats for PC these days and use my consoles for exclusives. I've noticed that more and more devs are being lazy and just porting games from the console to the pc. If anything it should be the other way around seeing as how games are developed on computers.
You do know some people actually game on consoles and PCs right? The world isn't only black and white, there are some shades of gray in between.
"The violence rate is at an all time high in our world. The drop out rate in schools is higher than ever. Girls, little kids, are having babies as soon as they start their cycles..."
Violence is always high in this world and it's been worse before. Also your point about little girls having babies is kind of moot seeing as how in the pass and even in some 3rd world countries now families would have their daughters, some as young as 11 years old, get married to men well...
"when its not the pc section of n4g is dead"
I'm guessing you only show up in the PC section when articles like this pop up. The PC section is never really dead. It's not as lively as the PS3/360 sections, but there's always some interesting articles to read.
You guys are full of bs. I've been playing mature games since I was a kid and I turned out alright. The same goes for all of my friends I grew up gaming with. Instead of not letting your kids play violent games why not just let them play these games and teach them right from wrong. It's the same with drinking and porn. If you try to keep you kids from doing something or seeing something they'll just want it more and when they finally get to that right age they go nuts.
Screw what some of you other people think, I loved driving the Mako in the first game.
I'm using a dual core and I haven't had any problems with load times.
