Seriously are they trying too limit sales of their game? considering they are putting the same resources into a games development to be multiplatform why even mention you are having problems with a particular version.
This just translates into PS3 owners looking somewhere else and THQ needs all the money they can get! Blood on the sand anyone?.... anyone?
It's to coincide with the release of the Bluray version of the original 2 ghostbuster movies on bluray published by Columbia (Sony). There is also a PSP version coming out a few months later aswell!
As for the 360 version it may come out some time later in the future....

Can the PS3 is dying stories die out now!?!
I bet all the third party publishers are begging Sony for a price cut!
Sorry guys but Live is certainly not worth paying for just to play games online. And MS has the audacity to spam the accounts who do infact pay for Live with advertisements!
MS shafts us both ways. Kinda like a teenager who leaves the family home but still wants money. F*** off you!
BTW as a multiplatform owner there really is no difference between both the services of Live and PSN. Your dellusional if you think otherwise.
Definently going to purchase this on the PS3!
And for all those naysayers against DLC, do you know why their is exclusive DLC for this title?
Because of the advertising of this game in HOME! Sony and Eidos both reached an advertising agreement!
You see? Home does have it's uses! Sadly the other consoles manufacturer doesn't employ the same tactics that benefit the consumer.
Thanks again SONY!
and was bitterly dissapointed as it looked just so awful! I found it suffered from a low resolution resulting in a certain lack of detail. Considering this game relies so heavily on atmosphere this is unnacceptable and unless the full game is drastically different, I would deter anyone from buying this game for the Playstation.
Now I haven't played the 360 or PC versions but from what I gather they are alot better.
But to be honest why would you buy this game f...
Honestly the PSP for me over the last few years has delivered the best gaming experiences over any of my other consoles (360, PS3 and DS fat 2004-2008) purely because of it's lack of support!
Now the main reason is because it's games are so cheap! Second hand good quality titles like "The Warriors", "Ace Combat", "Worms", GTA Vice City Stories, Daxter, Burnout Dominator, Pirates, Killzone Liberation, Crisis Core, Disgaea, Midnight Club: DUB and Remi...
Pretty stupid way of trying to validate a service as the game publishers have been pretty quiet about this... Maybe the "partners" have just allowed the sale and distribution of their games on the onlive network?
Just wish they would show a technical demonstration of how the service actually works! There's absolutely no risk seeing as they have filed for patents. Perhaps they are just stirring this hype to get a major party like Sony or Microsoft to partner up or buy t...
For onlive I presume you pay a subscription (to run the service) aswell as money down for individual titles right?
Your also hit with using the internet to stream EVERYTHING! I only have limited downloads of 9gb a month in Peak times and 21 gb Offpeak.
With that considered...
Why wouldn't you just buy a dedicated game machine or PC?
Another issue with this service is why hasn't MS, Sony or to a lesser extent Nintendo, or any of the telecom ...
I mean considering that the idea of cloud technology has been thought about for a while now (especially in the context of Office apps and Operating systems. Google Office anyone?) it seems really hard to believe that a small nobody of a business has manged to crack it!
And how did this revolution occur? With games... Wait a sec... GAMES? The most intense form of media a computer can run?
Hell we still haven't found a descent way to stream HD videos + music lag free (...
Considering the PS3 pretty much gets all the multiplat demos (that atleast i'm interested in) RE5, Hawx, Mirrors Edge, innovative PSN titles wipeout, flower, crash commando, rocket powered battle cars (great game btw), little noby boy, AND who's noticed the new PSP line up?!
I seriously can't complain...
To bad the peeps on the other console have to justify their spend HA!
Keep telling yourself your a 360, as in "I'm a PC," = Screwed
Multibillion dollar companies created the Financial fiasco we are in today and it's because of this sort of wasteful spending!
People need to wake up! Just because MS is big doesn't mean they have the right to spend millions of dollars on untested, and unresearched business strategies at the detriment of their own employees!
But you have to admit that the way MS shafted their own employees for the sake of a relatively radical new business plan to try to secure marketshare is unethical?
They do that to their own employees! Imagine what they are prepared to do to consumers?
Oh wait... remember Vista? RROD? anyone?
@ Below
Your not looking at the big picture. Sure some people may have been retained to form the new studios perhaps some programmers and developers. ...
So much for CONFIRMED EXCLUSIVE! EA is obviously negotiating, it just wouldn't be in their interest to release it exclusive with the PS3s marketshare as big as it is, and growing to about half the HD console market. Imagine the PS3s marketshare in 2010?
The people at ensemble + ACES (Flight Sim developer) who lost their jobs.
(Makes me sick)
Variety is pretty weak, they cater toward a very "select" group of gamers.
Yeah businesses exist soley to not listen to their customers in hope of making profits. /sarcasm
Overall sales according to vgchartz is 2.7 Million. Seems dumb to keep it exclusive unless Microsoft has a hand in it (which I doubt unless contract?).
But I know it's probably a pain in the a** for EA as whatever the problem is i'm sure they would want it as a multiplatform game. They need as many sales as possible especially on expensive games to develop like this one. This is especially poignant to the current financial predicament EA is facing.
They just need a AA...
Sorry what's this articles point? In business your meant to advertise your brand over those of your competition the best way you can! lol if we were to use this guys logic Sony would just shrivel up and die.
But honestly the difference is really chalk and cheese in how they both handle stealth. I mean MGS4 was just so incredible in how they approached it! The options of MGS4 in just how you played the game feel limitless and this is coming from a hardened Splinter Cell fan on the PS2!
Now I have played Splinter Cell DA on the 360 and i'm sorry but it just doesn't compare. I mean gameplay wise it pretty much relied on principles defined in previous splinter cell games of just hiding ...
