Guermonprez had some really fascinating stuff to say about Hell Yeah, game development philosophy and PAX.
Amazing story. Glad he was able to see it through to the end. I'll definitely be checking Fez out when it finally releases.
I love that killing an enemy before the point in time that it killed your clone creates a checkpoint.
Looking forward to hearing more about those mini-games.
Nice. A lot of people have jumped on that Sin City-style since the movie came out. Not that I'm complaining.
It's a shame they can't afford to bring the sequel to XBLA, but I can respect that small studios have to be careful with their finances.
I never finished the first game, but what I played was pretty awesome. I should get back to it at some point.
That is so damn cool. Who doesn't love Limbo's art style?
Played this game at last year's PAX East and loved it.
Intriguing. Can't wait to hear more.
I'd really want to see the cover system fixed up if BioWare were to release something like this. It's way too glitchy in Galaxy at War.
Xenoblade Chronicles and Last Story look great. Aside from Nintendo games, there really isn't much else coming out of Japan that I care too much about, though. I'm sure I'm missing something, but I can't think off the top of my head of a single other Japanese game coming out this year that I care about.
It's kind of sad because most of the best games used to come out of Japan and the West only had a few key hits. Now it is the complete opposite. Of course...
Nice. Too many developers fall into the trap of thinking that the online gaming negates split-screen. I say the more options, the better.
I like XBLA, but it's hardly surprising that it will eventually dissipate and be replaced by something else.
Scott Pilgrim's soundtrack is so great.
There simply aren't enough great platformers getting released these days, but it's nice that XBLA has become a decent little haven for them.
I can't say his statements really surprise me. Developers and gamers have been voicing similar opinions for quite some time.
That $40k/per patch is actually a bit of an eye-opener, though. While that's chump change to somebody like EA, Activision or Ubisoft, it represents a small fortune for the little guys out there.
Yeah, the books are great.
Nice review. I've only played a couple levels of Martian Bear so far, but I'm already loving it.
Yeah, I'm really excited to see how the series translates over to the downloadable space.
That's hilarious.
