Yeah, that's a good point. It really isn't switching without both elements.
I'm sure you won't be able to get it without the tablet either, because of the same reason, and also because Nintendo has said the tablet is the console, so that would be like buying an Xbox and not getting the, uh, Xbox, haha.

But you would think -- no way of knowing for sure, of course -- that Nintendo showed EA the Switch quite a long time ago, potentially giving EA/BioWare plenty of time to port to Switch. Even if it wasn't enough time to make it for launch, almost certainly they've known for long enough that they could have planned to bring it to Switch at some future point, but Gamble is saying there is no such plan right now.
