I'm actually not very impressed with what they showed in that regard -- yet. Game that was great five years ago? Neat, but what about the new AAA games that will be great in 2017? I won't believe Switch will have them until I see them up an running on it.
It looks so good.
Only insofar as Nintendo's own games will be among the very best on any platform. The portability is obviously really cool too, but the graphical horsepower is going to provide some real lackluster visuals compared to the competition, and you have to be worried it won't get much third-party support, despite the list of names supporting it.
Yep, totally thought the same thing about that measly little stand the second I saw it in the reveal video.
YES
The world looks AMAZING.
Bold claim, but it just might be accurate.
Everybody now: THIS IS HALLOWEEN THIS IS HALLOWEEN
Mostly worried about battery life and third-party support.
So glad the waiting is all over, finally.
Really hope it is capable of running the big dogs from third parties without compromising TOO much.
I like when games dont' shy away from difficult/risky topics like this. Doesn't happen enough, or they often don't go far enough when they do.
Absolutely.
I'd like to see one sooner rather than later.
Probably have to go PlayStation on that one for Uncharted, though Gears is pretty great so far.
Super weird looking.
Yeah, same here. Tore into it last night for the first time, and first few chapters of the campaign were a lot of fun.
Womp womp
But just because it's not hurting PS4 doesn't necessarily mean it's helping it, you know? Not saying it isn't, just that one thing does not always mean the other.
It was good, yeah. Could have used a few more concrete details, but they want to tease it out. I get it.
The basketball bit was just weird. Who stops playing actual basketball to play a basketball video game? Felt really forced.
