It's actually three times more powerful.
More like in two years but still..
Price.
The Pro is 3!!! in words three times more powerful and just 100,- more. MS miscalculated big time.
It's entirely possible they will just release a firmware update or another model including UHD BluRay support.
Yeah, but with one TB it's going to be 300,- or so...who would do that now if he can get a 3 times more powerful console for just 399,-?!
Upscaled, yes...which is totally fine.
The Scorpio will go for 499,- just like the original X1...meanwhile Ps4 Pro is going to go for 349,-.
4K won't play that much of a role for Scorpio to shine, especially without real exclusives. Sure some people will buy it for multiplats but most people are going to wait for PS5 to come out 2 years later already.
Nah...900.
Give it up Rookie.
@amnalehu
They should at least give you the option and it's entirely possible they will at a later date, after all the outcry.
Sure you did Rookie, sure you did..
Enjoy your 900p console to watch 4K BluRays on it.
Wishful thinking lol.
The content was not streamed in HDR. No idea why you got disagrees.
Scorpio won't do 4K native as well.
Commenting on yourself again?!
2019.
Just as obvious as PS4s advantage going by percentage. Meanwhile PSPro will be 3 times as powerful as the closest competitor and gain huge market share since 4K doesn't really play a role anyway.
By the time the first Scorpio games will utilise its power PS5 will be announced and most likely be backwards compatible. Not even speaking about the fact Scorpio most likely won't be fully upwards compatible to X1.
Go figure.
