They're not that stupid. Sony developed the Pro/NEO. MS heard it too late and decided to announce Scorpio which us nothing but hot air atm.
The difference is around 40 percent...less than the gap between PS4 and X1. Stop making up your own reality.

I game for 30 years and I think it's an incredibly clever move. The thing is going to fly off the shelves! Especially for VR and people not owning a PS4 yet.
It's so clever it caught MS by surprise....they reacted in panic and made up Scorpio a few weeks before E3.
You're naive if you believe MS will keep up with their promises. They'll stop supporting X1 rather sooner than later.
