It's pretty much a given they will show some heavy hitters in Paris and at the PS Experience in December. There are still so many games and projects of studios we know little to nothing about.

I actually love the world they created but somehow I still don't want another story with Joel and Ellie. If they even need to make one they should focus on new characters.
All in all I would prefer ND to focus on a new IP with which they could blow us all away.

This is N4G. People are not supposed to have opinions on here.

I wish it would look like Destiny tbh. Bungie's art design is much superior imho. But yeah, sammarhall is right...games are hardly comparable otherwise.

I got downvoted heavily lately for saying the exact thing after watching the release trailer. It's not that it looks bad, just not as amazing as those highly touched up CGI scenes. There is a break in artistic expression and it feels a bit disturbing. Cutscenes these days should generally be in-engine imho.

game is still far from being released so they'll have enough time to polish it.

And I don't care what anyone at Polygon thinks.

they are the hipsters of gaming journalism.

The game did some amazing and previously unseen things, just think about the opening with the boat...or Trevor as a character.
Yet it somehow felt a bit shallow and did never grab me like RDR did. A much superior game imho. Really hope they announce RDR3 soon.

All those people crying overrated are still mildly annoying. The game is great for what it is but it isn't the best open world game in existence.

Totally agree...the driving in GTAV was too arcadey and really lackluster after the realism GTAIV added to the series. Sadly too many people couldn't cope with it.

I wonder....is there a realistic physics mod for PC yet?!

it's just a meme. It was the same with PS3 and we all know how this turned out.

Without reading the article to me the reason is the fact, that there were hardly many games which were more entertaining and funny recently. We had soo many huge RPGs and open world games. Those games are just timeless fun, especially now that the graphics and especially controls have been updated.

Did you try it already? I get the feeling most people simply can't imagine what good VR feels like until they really experienced it. Of course it's still possible it doesn't appeal for you but I still think one great title will be enough to convince people, just like Crash Bandicoot or Tekken convinced people of 3D gaming back then.

Agree. People like me are kinda bored by traditional gaming for a while already. I game for more than 30 years and I get really excited at the idea of having shorter but more intense gaming experiences. Especially since I believe VR is capable of going far beyond traditional gaming experiences (in a sense like Journey was). Can't wait and really hope this becomes a success soon. It will have a break through once in a while but it depends on the next few years if it will be now already or ...

And I thought Canadians were sensible people. ;O) Just kidding. Never had any problems aside from little glitches and one quest which couldn't be completed. All in all negligable compared to the dimensions of Skyrim for example.

Seriously...thanks for spoiling that.

@concertoine

Not true actually. I never spent as much money for music than I do on Bandcamp. One reason is the fact I know most of the money benefits they artist directly.
Moldybread is intirely right with his his thesis imho. I pirated a lot of TV series before they finally introduced Netflix over here. Now I don't have to anymore.
